Rush Limbaugh today stated on his radio show that Rep. Mike Castle (R-DE) voted in favor of House Resolution 1258 on June 11, 2008.
What was "On Motion to Refer: H RES 1258 The Kucinich Privilege Resolution"?
Answer: "Impeaching George W. Bush, President of the United States, of high crimes and misdemeanors"
24 Republicans voted with the Democrat majority and that did include Rep. Mike Castle (R-DE).

Colin does not need Castle to win—he is a strong candidate in his own right, and conservative enough not to need a crutch like Castle for a state position, not a Federal one.

If the intent was to kill the bill by voting for it, why did 166 House Republicans voted against while Rep Mike Castle voted with the Democrats in supporting it?
The real reason was that it was trendy in 2008 to be anti-Bush and Castle probably felt it would boast his popularity in heavy Democrat state to have an ‘impeachment’ vote on his belt.

No, it wasn't a "procedural motion to kill the bill". It was a vote to send the bill into a place where it will die a slow death. Again, you don't get it, and I'm not going to spend anymore time trying to educate you about it. All attempts thus far, have proven wildly unsuccessful.
So, the difference between an “aye” vote and a “nay” vote on HR 1258 is the difference between a quick death and a slow death?

If Castle wins, we gain nothing over having Coons win. There comes a time when you must stand and say, “I will retreat no further.” These Liberal/Progressive Republicans are far more dangerous than their Democrat opponents. They bring people to believe that there is no alternative, so they give up hope and no longer vote.

Did you see Pete King, Kevin Brady, Ralph Hall "get out in front of it"? Kevin Brady (who just last year ACU's Ratings Award) is one of the most conservative members of the House, representing one of the most conservative districts in the state of TEXAS.
If Peter King, and incredibly visible and outspoken proponent on the WOT, voted to impeach Bush, as is the claim here about Castle, it would have been the lead story on every paper and newscast in the country. Why wasn't it? Because everyone who isn't half-retarded knows that Pete King would NEVER vote to impeach Bush, or to facilitate hearings to impeach Bush.

This is the decision for DE GOP voters: do you want a GOP Senate with Mike Castle voting for Mitch McConnell to be majority leader, or do you want Coons voting for Reid or Schumer or Durbin.
I plainly prefer to have McConnell as majority leader.
O’Donnell cannot win in the general in Delaware. Anyone who believes otherwise is certifiable.
