If Castle indeed voted on this bill for the reason you stated, as a smart guy, why didn't he get out in front of this instead of thinking (or hoping) that his vote wouldn't be scrutinized?

Did you see Pete King, Kevin Brady, Ralph Hall "get out in front of it"? Kevin Brady (who just last year ACU's Ratings Award) is one of the most conservative members of the House, representing one of the most conservative districts in the state of TEXAS.

If Peter King, and incredibly visible and outspoken proponent on the WOT, voted to impeach Bush, as is the claim here about Castle, it would have been the lead story on every paper and newscast in the country. Why wasn't it? Because everyone who isn't half-retarded knows that Pete King would NEVER vote to impeach Bush, or to facilitate hearings to impeach Bush.

Common sense is our friend, here.
