Democrats in Washington, confronting a mammoth tidal wave of angry voters as November approaches, are desperate to change the subject. They know there is little they can say about themselves or their record of governing over the past two years that would not worsen their prospects, so they naturally want to talk about Republicans instead. But they seem uncertain whether the problem with Republicans is that they want to do too little or too much.

One specific suggestion I have is that the House and Senate move immediately to repeal Obamacare. I know that the bill, even if it passes the House, will probably be stopped by a DemonRat filibuster in the Senate and, even if that's defeated, the Illegal will veto it and we won't have the votes to override the veto.
However, going as far as possible with repeal will still be an excellent idea for both political and legal/constitutional reasons.
Politically, it will force the DemonRats again to vote for the monstrosity, keeping the issue on the burner for 2012 and giving us a better shot at winning the presidency and both houses of Congress.
Legally/constitutionally the sad fact is that the Supreme Court often follows election returns. Nothing could give it a better inducement to find Obamacare unconstitutional than a major repeal attempt, even if that attempt fails. Justice Kennedy is likely to be the swing vote. Obama already publicly insulted him at the State of the Union speech due to his decision in the Citizens United free speech case. If Kennedy sees how unpopular Obamacare really is, that could induce him to take revenge on Obama by voting to hold it unconstitutional.
Such is the scale of the expected losses, that according to local polls, Democrats are on course to lose the governorships of left-leaning states such as Michigan and Pennsylvania..............and may be vulnerable in Illinois, long a Dem party bastion, and home to Ohaha and his WH crew.

" Holy Allah. Illinois? Gone? Get that little twerp
Rahm in here. Him and his permanent Democrat majority."

Gingrich calls Obama a Con Man
CBS News | Sept. 12, 2010 | Dan Farber
FR posted September 12, 2010 by SmartInsight
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich is apparently really frustrated with the president.....and has taken criticism to a new level of insult, describing Mr. Obama as a "con" man who is "authentically dishonest."
Gingrich said, "This is a person who is fundamentally out of touch with how the world works, who happened to have played a wonderful con, as a result of which he is now president." (Excerpt) Read more at cbsnews.com ...
I TOTALLY agree with you.
And to MAKE SURE that that happens, I hope as many Tea Party CAndidates as possible get nominated and win election.
The gutless, spineless capons who comprise the GOP Congressional Leadership lack the testicular fortitude to carry this through without some extremely hot fires being lit under their over-fed butts.
I for one do Not want to see the Repub Potty caritalize on the Tea Party’s work in the USA!
We cannot return to our Constitutional roots until the R potty is destroyed.
Hopefully, in November and the next political November it will be real Americans who prevail in the elections.
The poor (rats) will always be with us no matter what name we know them by; it is the R potty that is the basis of the evil two-party system—two sides of the same coin, the lesser of evils, etc, etc.

“has taken criticism to a new level of insult, describing Mr. Obama as a “con” man who is “authentically dishonest.”
Well, it’s typical of MSM to characterize truth-telling about the president as a smear (conveniently implying—without saying so—that the accusation is unfounded). Of course, Bill Clinton was termed an “unusually good liar” by a member of his own party—a moniker that most sensible people accepted as a pretty good characterization of the ex-president.
Given how Obama has behaved, calling him a con man probably libels con men, and anyone who paid attention during the health reform debate already realizes just how authentically dishonest he is.
