Washington (CNN) - Republican Brian Murphy is heading into Tuesday's GOP gubernatorial primary in Maryland with a last minute robocall from conservative star Sarah Palin.
Just hours earlier, Sen. John McCain Palin's former presidential running mate had announced his support for Murphy's primary opponent, former Gov. Robert Ehrlich in an interview with the AP, saying Ehrlich is "a fine guy."

Not sure of that. Perhaps, the AZ voters won’t vote for him come Nov.
Perfect name for him!
There was a thread yesterday where Palin's endorsement was just pure magic, a think of incredible power. But when the subject is McCain, why, she had nothing to do with it.
She had lot to do with it. She endorsed him very early in the race, when the polls showed almost a dead heat. She drew a lot of early attention away from Hayworth to McCain and made those absurd claims that McCain was what the Tea Party was all about.
Then McCain spent his $21 million, and ran Palin radio ads throughout most of the campaign.
The question is still: Is Sarah a John McCain Republican? She's still talking in generalities and a lot is still not known about her position the issues. She has never separated herself from McCain on the issues.
What do they mean ‘he broke with her’. I didn’t know they were still a team.
I saw Sarah yesterday in Missoula. She filled the hotel conference room with 1600 people at $100 per ticket. She was there to raise funds for Teen Challenge, a Christian organization that addresses drug addicted patients through the application of Christian principles.
Sarah was magnificent. Hers was a loving message with no hesitation about sharing her Christian beliefs. Her description of the relationship she has with her son, who has Downes Syndrom, was more than moving. This is a loving and decent woman who connects with her audience better than any politician I have seen in my fifty plus years of involvement in politics.
There were about thirty protesters outside the hotel. They were the usual silly, hateful, clueless scum who crawl out from under their rocks when Sarah makes an appearance. Of course the so called reporter tilted the coverage of the event as far as possible against Palin and in interviewing the nit wit protesters.
I can see why the left hates Sarah Palin. They should, because she is a threat to everything that they stand for. God Bless Sarah Palin.
As far as McCain is concerned, he is one of the most disgraceful slimeballs to ever stink up Congress. How has this maggot stayed in office for so long?
I believe the answer is an unqualified 'yes'. Sarah has now repaid McLame for putting her on the national stage, and no longer owes him a thing.
Tonight she spoke to the pro-life group that researches, producees and purchases airtime in an effort to encourage a greater respect for human life, restore traditional values in our American culture, and reduce the number of abortions by using mass media education.
As the tweet below shows, Sarah drew the largest crowd they've ever had --- twice the size in fact.
I say, God bless Sarah Palin!

correct.. her debt was paid to McLame when he came as close as he did to Obama in the 2008 election
Funny how McLame had $21 million left from his presidential campaign fund to use against Hayworth in this year’s primary. Why so much left over? Was he overconfident in 2008, or did he just want Obama to win?
>>> RINO McNuts Perfect name for him!
The endless name-calling last month certainly sank McCain’s campaign against Hayworth didn’t it. Why give up something that’s succeeded so spectacularly.
oh, wait
"It is time to screw America again for our JET-Blue partner, George Soros"
“I say, God bless Sarah Palin!”
AMEN!!
So where is the surprise, he stabbed her in the back when she was his running mate after he had a meeting with mac daddy.
The "millions" that McCain used against Hayworth largely came from his and Palin's unused 2008 campaign funds.
Butt out, McCain!!!
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
