80,000 Mailers Hitting Delaware Republican Households Urging Support

For Christine O'Donnell and Rejection of Mike Castle

(WILMINGTON) -- The Tea Party Express is pleased to unveil two mailers it has sent to 40,000 Republican households, for a total of 80,000 mail pieces being sent.  The mail pieces urge a vote for Conservative Republican, Christine O'Donnell, and have called for the defeat of Liberal RINO, Mike Castle.

The mailers should reach an estimated 50,000+ high-propensity Republican voters in Delaware (with each individual receiving both mailers).

The mailers began hitting mailboxes on Saturday, and continued hitting Delaware Republican households today.

Heck, I’d vote for her based on looks alone.

Heck, I’d vote for her based on looks alone.

I agree that she's attractive, but on the other side of the same political coin, attractiveness is what gave us Clinton, Gore and ...gack...Obama.

Find the REAL Republican
Hmmm, let's see......

Side By Side Comparison of Christine O’Donnell & Mike Castle:
Jobs Voted for Nancy Pelosi’s cap and tax energy scheme which would kill 6,117 Delaware jobs and also voted for the job-killing minimum wage hike. Believes jobs are created when businesses are freed from endless taxes and bureaucratic red tape.
Security Voted with liberals in Congress to handicap our intelligence and military agencies. Believes terrorism is an act of war requiring the full force of our intelligence and military resources rather than granting terrorists precious Constitutional rights and outsourcing our foreign policy to the U.N.
Debt Voted to increase the national debt & consistently supports Washington’s reckless spending. Believes heaping trillions in debt on the backs of our grandchildren is immoral and that Congress is elected to make the hard choices to preserve our nation’s future prosperity.
Taxes Voted to keep the death tax, to increase taxes by $3,100 on every American family, and to remove the protection of the middle class from dramatic tax increases originally intended to hit <200 of the richest Americans. Will fight to remove the crushing tax burden faced by American families and businesses and dramatically simplify the tax code.
Life Voted to subject children to out-of-state abortions without consent of parents, voted to use U.S. funds to support Planned Parenthood at home and abroad, supports human cloning, and sponsored the bill to destroy, exploit and experiment on unborn children as scientific lab-rats. Strongly believes in protecting the sanctity of life at ALL stages.
Energy Voted to ban exploration for American energy, keeping gas prices high, to prohibit drilling in America’s land and waters, and to ban building new oil refineries. Supports a market-based approach to energy solutions that will keep competition high and energy prices low.
Values Voted to allow liberal activist judges to strip “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance, against the Constitutional protection of marriage, and against educational choice for parents with children in failing schools. Believes our country was founded on core values of faith, family and freedom and will fight to defend those values. Will always fight for maximum choice for parents about where to educate their kids, including private, parochial and charter schools or in the home.
Spending Voted to spend billions on failed stimulus packages & bailouts. Believes unrestrained government spending is eroding our freedom, destroying our economy and ceding our sovereignty to foreign debt- holders like China.
Accountability Voted to protect 103 outrageous pork projects that would lead to corruption and waste. Denounces corrupt pork-barrel politics, including earmarks, and will fight for increased transparency and performance information for every Federal program.
Healthcare Remained undecided about Pelosi’s government takeover of healthcare until 4 days before vote. Believes that the solution to the healthcare crisis is less government meddling in the doctor/patient relationship, more competition in the insurance market and more choice for families about their health plan.
Gun Control Received an “F” rating from the NRA, indicating a strong anti-2nd Amendment position. Christine’s strong support of 2nd Amendment rights has earned her an “A” rating from the NRA.

Vote - Sept. 14th - Today!
Polls open 7am-8pm

Love your informative posts, DelaWhere!

Thanks for all the work you are doing in your state to help get conservatives elected and kicking the RINO’s out.

I kinda picked up from your handle you live in Delaware...

LOL, Before Biden became VP, everyone always said Where is Delaware? Is is somewhere up there in New England near Rhode Island... Hence the Dela Where?

Of course there once was a song - What did Dela wear boys - She wore her brand New Jersey...

Can’t say enough about how proud I am of y’all (lived in TX for 10 yrs.) Great - Job! Would have come up and given everyone a big hug in Dover - but wanted to keep the focus on Christine... ;-)

Geeesh, too late to call anyone - FR and other blogs slowing down and 6 1/2 hours till polls open - too much adrenalin to sleep, but gotta try. Big day tomorrow!

Hmmm, Maryland - You’ve got some big ones tomorrow too.

Need my Great Aunt around to straighten things out over there - She taught for 55 years - I remember her once when she was in her mid 90’s calling Annapolis and in her experienced way of controlling kids, got right through to Marvin Mandel (actually got him pulled out of a meeting) - Told him that she was ashamed of him and that she knew his Mother and that she would have thrashed him good for what he did... LOL wouldn’t have wanted to be on his end.

She was over at the town of Choptank where their father had owned a cannery back around the 1900’s.

I’ve given a lot of thought to this one.

I’ve supported every tea party candidate. And there’s no question that Castle is beyond RINO. He’s a liberal.

But because Castle can win the general (Christine unequivocally cannot), for a while I was grudgingly hoping Castle would win. I’ve changed my mind.

Even though O’Donnell will lose in the general - and make no mistake, she’ll get slaughtered - I think it’s important tactically for the long term that Castle’s type be rooted out. One thing that hasn’t been much discussed is the salutary effect the defeats of the Murkowskis and Bennetts might have going forward on GOP office holders. Maybe Goober Graham will think a bit next time he thinks about supporting amnesty, knowing the right is able and willing to mount a campaign to unseat him in a primary. McCain’s probably beyond hope - he has no principles whatsoever. But others on the fence might stay better in line if they know we’re willing to knock them out even if it means a loss in the general.

Short term tactical loss.....long term solid gain for conservatism. Jim DeMint put it very well on Mark Levin’s show today. “I was there when we had the numbers, but didn’t have the principles.” He and others seem determined to make sure that doesn’t happen again.

So so I can hope anyway.

Hank

I have been thinking the same thing through and I know many others have, also...

At first I thought you take the republican who can win - winning is all that matters. You make a hard-nosed empirical decision because the number of votes is all that counts.

I think Jim DeMint may have made the defining statement about all these sorts of questions - “I was there when we had the numbers, but didn’t have the principles.”

I finally get it - having the numbers doesn’t mean anything unless you have the principles - and for the time being anyway, the republicans don’t have the numbers or the principles... maybe Nov 2 will help with both - numbers and principles.

I feel a lot better...

GO CHRISTINE!!

Not exactly. It was a boat load of ignorant yutes that gave us the pukes.
