Just finished the general election numbers in Delaware and New Hampshire. Not going to release them until Wednesday when we have nominees but in one case the conventional wisdom about who's more electable was confirmed and in the other it was not:
-In Delaware Chris Coons polls 26 points better against Christine O'Donnell than Mike Castle. Castle's net favorability is 25 points higher than O'Donnell's. That electability gap is even wider than what we saw a month ago when Castle did 20 points better against Coons than O'Donnell.

Hi Newbie.
All of your posts at FR have been against the Tea Party.
Go back to DU.
Better 50 Republicans and no RINOs than 51 Republicans including 1 RINO.
* RINOs are contagious.
* RINOs always get the news coverage.
* RINOs make Republicans get blamed for failed Democrat policies (Crash of 08, anyone?)
* RINOs make it harder for conservatives to win the seat next time around.
* RINOs convince urban social conservatives that social conservatism is just something the Republican Party fakes to fool stupid hicks and rednecks.
* RINOs use their position to make lefty crap bipartisan
* RINOs use their position to discredit conservatives... See, even reasonable Republicans support [socialist cause]; [So-and-so] is an extremist.
AND MOST ASTOUNDINGLY...
* RINOs work their asses off to prevent conservatives from getting elected.
Demographically, liberals rely on minorities and city-dwellers to win elections. So why is Vermont at the cutting forefront of liberalism? RINOs!
Blacks are socially conservative? So why dont they ever vote Republican? Because the only Republicans they ever see are.... RINOs!
Sure, every general counts up his troops to prepare for battle; the more troops, the better your chances are at winning, right? But would it make any sense for Gen. Grant to give confederate troops union uniforms, weapons, supplies and battle plans, just to say he had more union soldiers?
“Thanks a lot Tea Party”
You are welcome.
Mike Castle voted FOR S-Chip.
Mike Castle voted FOR Cap-and-Trade.
Mike Castle voted FOR the $700 billion TARP bill.
Mike Castle voted AGAINST the surge in Iraq.
Mike Castle voted to ban incandescent light bulbs.
Mike Castle voted to investigate George W Bush for impeachment for lying about Iraq.
After ObamaCare was passed into law, Mike Castle refused to support its Repeal.
Where do I go to donate against Mr. “We May Need a Tax Increase” Daniels?
That electability gap is even wider than what we saw a month ago when Castle did 20 points better against Coons than O'Donnell.
Shine yer light on this.
Anyone who believe’s these fake poll is deluded.
Who said the GOP was going to win the Senate anyway? Everybody had the GOP winning no more than 5-7 seats. That's still short of 50.
They are the Neville Chamberlain of America, enabling the tyrant to continue on, nice going fellas.
Because standing on principle and conviction equals surrendering. Gotcha there genius.
Probably because this member of four weeks is afraid to admit he's a liberal troll.
What do you think the Venn diagram overlap is for people who took PPP's poll showing O'Donnell ahead of Castle in the primary last night as the gospel truth and people who think this poll is a big lie?
ODonnell can win the primary, but she will probably lose the general election to Coons if she defeats Castle. PPP and Rasmussen both show her polling significantly weaker than Castle in the general election. Theres also the small fact that shes lost statewide three times and Castle has been wining races in Delaware since the 1980s.
