Pop star Lady Gaga showed her support for gays in the military Sunday night by inviting four discharged soldiers — including a former West Point cadet — to be her entourage at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Katie Miller, 20, thought she had gotten used to the spotlight since coming out of the closet in August and quitting West Point. But escorting Lady Gaga down the white carpet in Los Angeles marked a new height of hysteria, Miller told the Times Herald-Record.
“I don't think I've ever had more than two or three cameras on me at once,” Miller said. “Then, all of a sudden, I'm with Lady Gaga and there's paparazzi screaming her name.”

I wish it would go away but it won’t. Homosexuals are going to keep pushing. And it’s going to get more intense if the current Congress is a lame duck Congress. They will push all kinds of garbage through as fast as they can.

What's more, Miller and three other discharged soldiers made a silent statement by wearing their dress military uniforms to the event.
“It was a big decision to wear the uniform,” Miller said. “You're not supposed to be in uniform at anything that could be perceived as a political event.”

Is it no longer against the ‘law’ to wear ones uniform if NOT either on Active Duty or in the Reserves?
I know you could wear your uniform if you were at a parade or ceremony but understood for a long while you had to be retired.

Oh I agree its dangerous and someone may be suggesting this to her. But for her ( the so called singer) its just an effort to stay relevant.
