HOW COULD MIKE CASTLE WIN IN NOVEMBER IF HE CAN'T WIN IN SEPTEMBER?

HOW COULD MIKE CASTLE WIN IN NOVEMBER IF HE

CAN'T WIN IN SEPTEMBER?

One of the most oft-repeated claims made by Liberal RINO Mike Castle's campaign is that Republicans should look past his pro-Obama/pro-Pelosi voting record because he has the best chance "to win" in November were he to be the GOP nominee for U.S. Senate.

But the developments in the GOP primary race between Conservative Republican Christine O'Donnell and Mr. Castle suggest this claim is looking increasingly hollow.

"Mike Castle's campaign has derided Christine O'Donnell as a lightweight who couldn't be elected to dogcatcher. Yet now Mr. Castle trails in the polls behind O'Donnell, and more Republicans now have an unfavorable view of him than those who view him favorably," said Joe Wierzbicki, Coordinator of the Tea Party Express.

"So if Mr. Castle can't defeat Christine O'Donnell, who he claimed was such a weak candidate, than how on earth does Mr. Castle expect to defeat Democrat Chris Coons and the entire weight and might of the Democratic Party political machine?" Wierzbicki asked.

Man, another thread to attract a whole bunch of Castle defenders. This day before the primary they’re out in full force.

Don’t argue with their incessant attacks on Castle’s opponent. Just ask them to defend their guy’s record.

That shuts them up.

Here's a way for Christine's supporters all across the country to help out by making phone calls to Delaware voters! The following button will take you to the campaign's website with instructions for registering to make phone calls.

While there is an argument about the differences between the primary and general, I made this very same argument in regards to the Nevada primary vote. If Sue Lowden could not get the voters motivated to come up for her in the primary vote, why does anyone think she is the one that can beat old Harry.

The fact that Angle outran her opponents and beat them in the final weeks means she knows how to campaign and close out strong. Either the others were lousy candidates too or ineffective at getting their message out. Not all primary voters are tea partiers, only a subsection are. Many primary voters are only slightly engaged and also made their decisions to vote for the winners.

Maybe the RNC doesn’t want him to win in November.

...because he's more liberal than the Democrat would be?

More Democrat votes than the Democrat?

This is a perfect example why Michelle Steele and the whole RNC establishemt needs to go.

Uh, because the composition of the electorate in a closed primary is significantly different than the composition of the electorate as a whole.

the same question can be addressed to any primary candidate.

In DE case, Castle has won several times general election. O’Donnell has 100% track record in losing..

This is sad episode and whichever GOP candidate wins, dems are now going to win in DE (because of the messy primary).

We blew this one.

You go right ahead and you keep posting. I love it.

But I know their names by heart. They know they’re grossly outnumbered but they don’t give it up. They get on these threads with their snooty attitude, making fun of O’Donnell, showing all the world the problem with Castle.

Which is how he thinks he can vote any damn way he wants and the hell with you fools who complain.

Then attack the opposition guy because that’s all they got.

Again, ask them what they think of Castle’s Cap and Trade vote or his assertion, the day after the health care vote, that he would NOT vote to repeal.

They cannot defend this so don’t expect it.

These Castle defenders, ain’t none of them from Delaware. If I could I put up a thousand bucks and send Castle to THEIR state and they can have him they love him so much.

The Republican Party chair in Delaware needs to be broomed out, along with Mike Castle. These guys are not just garden variety RINOs, these guys are hand in glove with the Democrats, splitting the spoils and being careful not to interfere with their darlings, such as Beaux Biden.

Time to clean out the stables.
