This would be fine if anyone could ever sue the federal government for anything other than messing with certain protected classes (racial minorities, the handicapped, etc.). Repeal the 11th amendment! (/half-joking)
Military contractors should be sued for alot of things, such as failure to deliver according to the contract terms. Billions are wasted because of the good ole boy network of big contractors like General Dyammics, Lockheed, etc., who routinely stick us with cost overuns, and shoddy products, etc. However, I am not sure this will give them pause.
You paint a broad brush that is neither accurate nor complete.
Billions more are wasted by the obtuse oversight, and contract mis-management of the government and politicians than by the contractors themselves. In most cases I know, the contractors are doing their best to provide a good product at fair price. The people who work on DoD contracts are often slightly underpaid as compared to other industry and stay because they enjoy their work and the idea of supporting the warfighter.
The exception to this may be political small business contracts proposed in ways to favor a senators relative and the like. Companies like those you listed provide the highest quality products anywhere in the world. The best does not always come cheap. The company has to net some profit.
There is no excuse for not properly treating human waste, especially if service persons were actually harmed.
No disagreement here on that....just did not agree with the earlier comment I was responding too.
Ain’t but a few anymore who would recognize that picture.
