Restless conservative activists and tea party-fueled candidates have mounted a late surge in the New Hampshire and Delaware Senate races, giving the Republican establishment one last wave of nervousness as primary season draws to a close Tuesday in seven of the eight final states.
After outsider GOP candidates toppled the party's recruits or incumbents in seven states (Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Kentucky, Nevada and Utah), at times even before the primaries, Republican operatives are wary that the trend could continue Tuesday but remain cautiously optimistic that the last two individual pushes have come too late. Still, a pair of Public Policy Polling (D) surveys taken this weekend show that both Ovide Lamontagne and Christine O'Donnell, the outsiders in the New Hampshire and Delaware GOP primaries respectively, are closing fast.

Good.
Vote Ovide.
The rest of conservative nation will be presently surprised by this unknown candidate.
I hope that Ovide Lamontagne and Christine O’Donnell can pull it out.
I especially like Lamontagne’s position on immigration.
Hoping and praying for conservative wins tomorrow!
Ovide Lamontagne, Mitt Romney Supporter, Gun Control advocate. “Compassionate Conservative.”
Vote Kelly Ayotte. Palin-backed, Pro Life backed.
Ayotte 53
Hodes 35
Lamontagne 44
Hodes 42
But O’Donnell cannot win the general election in DE...we have to vote for Cap and Trade, I mean, a gun-grabber, I mean, 100% NARAL rating, I mean Castle...
The boys at the Union Leader are doing Lamontagne no favors with their gratuitously nasty, shrill and vicious attacks on Kelly Ayotte. There will be a backlash and I will be part of it.
And the GOP hacks were so right about Scazafava....how'd that work out for us You Rhinos!!!!
If O’Donnell doesn’t win, she should mount a 3rd-party campaign to win the Senate. With liberals splitting their vote between the Dem. candidate and Castle it is very plausible she could win, if conservatives gave her support and left Castle to twist in the wind like Crist.
Actually, that gives me an idea. I wonder what would happen if O’Donnell wins the primary. Would it then be to our advantage to encourage Castle to run 3rd party, to draw off support from the Dem. candidate? Someone with more knowledge than I would have to run the numbers and see if this makes sense, but it might give O’Donnell the chance she needs if Coons truly polls ahead of her in a straight matchup.
NH Ping.
I was going to vote for Ovid, but after Pissant, I have changed my mind and I will vote for Kelly.
I believe that the only possibility would be a write-in campaign. Delaware has a sore loser law that should prevent whoever loses on Tuesday from running on another party ticket or as an independent.
