I don’t even give Obama that much credit. At a young age he learned how to slip between white and black, elite and poor - and simply let others attach their ideas to him. I doubt he even thought up most of his ideas himself. It is suspected he didn’t even write his own books, which would be typical of him.
Incredible article! I think he has absolutely nailed it. The problem we are going to have is Obama’s post presidency. He’s a young man and will have a lot of time to create havoc.

Obama hates the West and wants to make it pay. One of the interesting things about him is that he used American blacks to get elected, but aside from occasionally trying on a lousy, B-movie Hollywood black accent, he has little contact with them now that he’s got what he wanted.
His wife actually is “African American,” in the sense of being descended from African slaves brought here against their will, and I think he leaves most of that to her.
But what he really hates is the West in general, including blacks who have adopted the democratic capitalist model and are successful on their own and have not made it through “community organizing,” getting government handouts, or sports. Successful black sports stars seem to be ok with him, racist slob that he is.
I think that what he wants to do is strip this country of all its wealth, make it powerless, and then go off to the take some sort of world position (perhaps at the UN, or perhaps in some Islamic country as the caliph de tutti califfi) and call out his hordes to attack us and finish us off.
The long and short of it is that he hates the US and he hates the West and its entire Greco-Roman Judeo-Christian tradition.

D’Souza is absolutely fearless on race and will absolutely not be intimidated by the use of the race card.
Questionable theory. While his Kenyan father’s influence is fairly strong, it is limited by the fact that Obama had very little actual contact with the man, who left while O was just a babe.
I suspect that he was more influenced by his buddy Frank, with whom he spent a lot of time, and his mother and her family. The anti-colonialism is surely there (all socialists are anti-colonialists), but I suspect the author has exaggerated it.

It was a good article, but the garbage in his book concerning his fathers grave was all BS. His father was a b*****d and he knows it. Right now it is all about his personal profit and Islam. Everything he does helps Islam and enriches his power structure. The US is just a vehicle for him. It is all about the bling. IMHO.

I’m not sure how much his psychology matters. He’s a puppet. He, along with Pelosi and Reid, pass laws thousands of pages long that none of them wrote and none of them have read. He is the visible face for someone else’s agenda.
Listen to his defense of his agenda; its all generalities, pie in the sky. Nothing to do with the actual text of the actual laws because he doesn’t know whats in them.

Personally, I would like to re-write the tax laws so that the entire tax burden of the United States rests on the shoulders of Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, and Teresa Heinz Kerry.

Just divide the budget by the number of cigarettes sold in a year, and there you’d have the cigarette tax that you’d need.
Oh, I agree he did not write the books. Michele let it slip that he had writer’s block albeit having a huge advance from published. He took all his audio tapes from relatives’ interviews and gave them to someone (Bill Ayers comes to mind). It is obvious he has a smoldering resentment and ‘tude similar to the radical 60’s crazies. I finished the book Manchurian President. It is packed with facts. Practically every former member of SDS, SNVCC, Weather Underground, Marxists, Communists of all shapes and sizes have been brought into the new administration from the start. They ARE the government. It is truly scary. Glen Beck is only scratching the tip of the iceberg with Van Jones and they are trying to destroy even him. No other media has guts to come near.

Indeed that was an excellent read, only problem is how to get the brain dead Obamabots to read something this long, every American needs to read this, but they are too busy watching whatever garbage is on pop TV these days.

If what you say is true, and I believe you’re RIGHT, then couldn’t the “anticolonial/anticapitalist” psychology behind Obama’s motives overlap the same motives in Soros, Pelosi, Reid, etc?
In other words, look at the ENTIRE CAST of characters (Anita Dunn; Van Jones; Bill Ayers). They all have this common thread.
I don’t care if Obama is personally steering the ship and making every single decision (I don’t think he is). But Soros and the other socialists, the entire team, seem to share the motives detailed in the FORBES article, and thus, it sheds light on their misguided beliefs.
