How Obama Thinks

Barack Obama is the most antibusiness president in a generation, perhaps in American history. Thanks to him the era of big government is back. Obama runs up taxpayer debt not in the billions but in the trillions. He has expanded the federal government's control over home mortgages, investment banking, health care, autos and energy. The Standard summarizes Obama's approach as omnipotence at home, impotence abroad.

The President's actions are so bizarre that they mystify his critics and supporters alike. Consider this headline from the Aug. 18, 2009 issue of the Wall Street Journal: "Obama Underwrites Offshore Drilling." Did you read that correctly? You did. The Administration supports offshore drilling--but drilling off the shores of Brazil. With Obama's backing, the U.S. Export-Import Bank offered $2 billion in loans and guarantees to Brazil's state-owned oil company Petrobras to finance exploration in the Basin near Rio de Janeiro--not so the oil ends up in the U.S. He is funding Brazilian exploration so that the oil can stay in Brazil.

More strange behavior: Obama's June 15, 2010 speech in response to the Gulf oil spill focused not on cleanup strategies but rather on the fact that Americans "consume more than 20% of the world's oil but have less than 2% of the world's resources." Obama railed on about "America's century-long addiction to fossil fuels." What does any of this have to do with the oil spill? Would the calamity have been less of a problem if America consumed a mere 10% of the world's resources?

The oddities go on and on. Obama's Administration has declared that even banks that want to repay their bailout money may be refused permission to do so. Only after the Obama team cleared a bank through the Fed's "stress test" was it eligible to give taxpayers their money back.

Not news ... and not short ... but an excellent read, if you missed it the first time.

Dinesh D'Souza, the president of the King's College in New York City, is the author of the forthcoming book The Roots of Obama's Rage (Regnery Publishing).

How Obama thinks?

To quote The Doors: "His brain is squirming like a toad."

This was posted days ago - a long read, but WORTHY OF EVERYONE'S ATTENTION.

As I've been saying here on FR for 20 months - everything about Obama could have been known prior to 11/08. And, I've said it here on FR many times - it's not Dreams OF My Father - it's Dreams FROM My Father. Obama has an agenda, and he'll stop at nothing to exact it on the U.S. first...and then the world.

To quote The Doors: “His brain is squirming like a toad.”

Right now he is probably thinking like the toad looking up at the headlights bearing down on him while he sits in the middle of the road all alone, blinking.

Barry’s central problem seems to be his deep-seated contempt for the American public. His words and actions consistently imply that some strata or another of the public needs to be punished, does not conform to his dictates or needs their rights and/or money confiscated. It’s bizarre that someone with his world view could stumble into the Presidency in Chauncey Gardner fashion with virtually no qualifications.

"I saw that my life in America--the black life, the white life, the sense of abandonment I'd felt as a boy, the frustration and hope I'd witnessed in Chicago--all of it was connected with this small piece of earth an ocean away, connected by more than the accident of a name or the color of my skin. The pain that I felt was my father's pain."

His father HATED America.

Agree whole heartedly. When you look at this article, then factor in his Muslim influences, his 20 year immersion in black liberation theology, his radical associations in this country, and his reinforcing indoctrination in liberal philosophy courtesy of academia it all makes for a potent cocktail of anti-Americanism. Note that Obama has never clearly explained his vision for America. What is clear is that he has something to hide.

True enough. However, I’m not even talking about his flesh-and-blood father.

A long article, but worth reading through.

This should be enough to finish him. The sad thing is that Communism and anti-colonialism have been instilled into many people by the Alinskiiites who run our public schools and universities.

So, maybe a third of the country could read this whole thing, understand what it says, and STILL support Obama. Because they have been brainwashed into suicidal ways of thinking.

Obama has never clearly explained his vision for America,

Sure he has - HOPE and CHANGE. The clueless had not idea it wasn't 'their idea' of Hope and Change. The were seduced by a con man despite the info being out there.

His brain is squirming like a toad

Good description. When challenged, he stutters noticably as he tries to cover up his web of lies and deceit. If he runs in 2012, and I’m not convinced he will, anyone who debates him should up the intensity of attack whenever he starts the stammering routine. Obama does not handle pressure gracefully.

“True enough. However, I’m not even talking about his flesh-and-blood father.”

Given what I’ve read, I’m not sure that we even know who that is, but it is true enough that the political beliefs were those of the “fathers” that he had in his lifetime and the anti-colonial views swirled with Marxism and Black Liberation theologies would certainly lead to the same conclusion ... that we have a man in the oval office who was brought up on a steady diet of loathing for the US.

The pain that I felt was my father's pain.

What a crock of crapola. There didn't seem to be much pain on Obama senior's face when he was leaving his "family" in Hawaii and heading for the elitist enviornment at Harvard University, which ensured a live of privilege life in his own country.

There is a reason why his origins are mysterious.

This is an excellent, and actually ground-breaking, article.

Anticolonialism. It explains everything.
