Many Jews in my synagogue just adore Obama.Most of them don’t seem to care too much about Judaism and being Jewish.The way one of my fellow congregants carried the Torah was disgusting and disgraceful. I know what Nobama is all about and as a convert to Judaism it shocks and saddens me to see my fellow Jews just not give a darn about being a Jew.Being a Jew is a blessing.
We used to belong to a synagogue that was part of the Reform movement - it used to gall me to see the position statements that would come out of the Union of Reform Judaism. It was complete down-the-line far-left orthodoxy. Partial birth abortion is good. Bush stole the election. Global warming is killing us. Etc., etc., etc.
