We used to belong to a synagogue that was part of the Reform movement - it used to gall me to see the position statements that would come out of the Union of Reform Judaism. It was complete down-the-line far-left orthodoxy. Partial birth abortion is good. Bush stole the election. Global warming is killing us. Etc., etc., etc.
I have heard many a bleeding-heart liberal statements made as well.Global warming is but one of the topics. Homosexuals must be included,the Muslims deserve to have their mosque built,etc. One member said “it’s complicated” when refeering to the mosque.No,it’s not! Don’t these people realize that Islam is evil? That Muslims are the biggest Jew-haters? They think that Islam is a legitimate religion.If that is true then I am a big Broadway star.
