God bless Sarah Palin. In the political world, she is the last genuine American standing at this point. Well, at least the VERY BEST and the one with REAL GUTS.
Your mother is very astute! She raised a daughter with great political insight and writing skills, too!
“It’s about time someone put it in print.”
It’s just too bad that more didn’t put it in print in the summer of 2008.
Democrats are great at reliving history, although they like to say that they are "progressive." They are attempting to reprise their successful attacks on Speaker Gingrich, which started about two minutes after the 1994 elections were over. His photo was on TIME magazine looking like the devil before Christmas that year.
Then in 1996, the Presidential campaign against Dole was OOOOOHHH! scary DoleGingrich as the worst boogey man to ever live in the USA.
The dems believe that they can demonize Boehner in the same way. But it's all in their own minds, not in the reality of American voters' minds.
You are right on. I sure enjoy your posts. Thanks.
You mean like last time, when Clinton did it?
Wow, hope this idiot keeps talking.
$$$$
That interview seemed to end very abruptly. All of a sudden it was panel time, and he was gone.
He did so much to ‘bring us together’, didn’t he!
“Wow” is right. He really lifted some veils on how (some) “mainstream” muslims feel.
“You mean like last time, when Clinton did it?”
It worked too. The Asspress wrote stories about children who couldn’t visit the Grand Canyon.
I have, as expected, ascertained the talking points of the day...one word, two syllables.
BOEHNER
Axelrod said that word so many times I wanted to slap him.
Make an enemy....that is their methodology.
It ain’t gonna work.
Americans could care less about this Boehner and will never put the blame for this country’s woes on John Boehner.
If I was a betting person, I’m thinking Pelosi agreed to use her name as the bad guy for close congressional races in exchange for the Dems villifying the next speaker, BOEHNER.
Anybody thinks Americans are going to sit out here in la-la land with our over 10% unemployments, with mosques being built where Americans died so horrifically, where health care is going to grow bejeesus....if anybody thinks Americans are going to slap their heads as dawn breaks over their marble heads and say....”
...”BOEHNER! It’s been him all along! Dag, I’m glad they finally got the guy. Things will be getting better for sure!”
...well I got a bridge to sell cheap. Free to the highest bidder. Just been renovated.
Y’all remember always Abe Lincoln’s wise words.
You can fool SOME of the people ALL of the time. That would be African-Americans who follow Obamer, and OJ Simpson, into hell and follow with a smile.
You can fool ALL of the people SOME OF THE time....with the first “ALL” loosely translated as “majority”, that would be America with the election of Obama.
BUT YOU CAN’T FOOL ALL OF THE PEOPLE...ALL OF THE TIME.
the above is where the Democrat party is now.
I wondered why zero singled out coal as another energy form on his hist list of energy producers and now I see. It's probably the secret to our energy needs.Especially since some oil producers, even when they get the necessary permits they need sometimes will sit on permits to wait out price hikes.
The country is at a new low here and it takes guys like you to bring out the solutions and coal seems very viable.
Maybe or maybe not.
The problem here for the Progressive Fascists Democrat political/media machine is his race. If the Fascists Democrats lose the black vote, or even a good portion of it, they stop being a major national party. So if they turn on 0 they run the risk of alienating a good chunk of their voter base.
However, they also need a scapegoat to explain why, despite super majorities in Congress, their ideological driven polices turned out to be a complete disaster.
In the world of Progressive Fascists their ideology is NEVER to blame for the complete failure of any of their agenda items to actually perform as promised.
So what you see now is the Leftist machine flailing around trying to come up with a new media meme to explain the complete failure of their economic/political dogmas to work in the real world.
I suspect in the end they will fall back on simply blaming the American voters for being too "ignorant and bigoted" to grasp the subtle brilliance of their dogmas.
Being a member of the Progressive Fascist machine means never ever having to admit your emotion based political/economic dogmas are completely wrong.
“WTF was that harrangue about Boehner smoking???”
It seems the JournOlists must have coordinated 1 of their new talking points. Apparently, the NY Slimes has a big article on Boehnor and the Gibster has been working his little thumbs to the bone tweeting about it.
Robert Gibbs really wants you to tead NYTs harsh piece on John Boehner

Heres a preview of how the Midterm media battles will be waged. The New York Times is running a front page feature on House Minority leader John Boehner (a 60-year-old, perpetually tanned, sharply tailored, chain-smoking golfer) the man recently cast as President Obamas main foe in the Republican party, and Press Secretary Robert Gibbs has taken to Twitter to tell you how much he really wants you to read it.
The article details Boehners especially tight ties with a circle of lobbyists and former aides representing some of the nations biggest businesses, including Goldman Sachs, Google, Citigroup, R. J. Reynolds, MillerCoors and UPS and speculates on how these ties influence his political decisions in dubious ways.
From 2000 to 2007, Mr. Boehner flew at least 45 times, often with his wife, Debbie, on corporate jets provided by companies including R. J. Reynolds. (As required, Mr. Boehner reimbursed part of the costs.) In addition, over the last decade he has taken 41 other trips paid for by corporate sponsors or industry groups, often to popular golf spots. That makes him one of the top House beneficiaries of such travel, which has recently been curbed as a result of changes in ethics rules.
It goes on, but you get the picture, and the NYT has provided a handy little chart of Boehners K-Street Cabinet. Robert Gibbs, meanwhile, is very keen you read it. In a case of what might be called overplaying your Twitter, Gibbs has tweeted about the story no less than four times in the last hour, including expressing concern that the black and white chart doesnt give proper due to Boehners tan. Feels like a bit too much of a good thing on Gibbs part, but perhaps hes been inspired by the recent success of Sarah Palin and is hoping to wield his Twitter account in a similar manner. Maybe cluster twitters are the new negative campaign ad.

Actually, I think Axelrod can do that all by himself!
so the Dems are gonna try to make midterms....about JOHN BOEHNER?!!!LOL!!!
Agree. This would bear no relationship to what happened the last time under Clinton. Huge unemployment, massive government spending that will burden future generations, and a government that does not listen to the will of the people will evoke a different public reaction this time.
Thanks so much Morgan - I always enjoy yours, too.
BTW - It’ll be interesting to see how the CO Gov race turns out.
I think you're enough of a political junkee to make a pretty educated guess. And I'd tend to agree with the above, both in the primary and general.
I'm doing my darnedest to prepare to be disappointed, however. It's like any more all the things I thought were truth, justice and the American way have been swept under the rug for Blue Bloods who know better than us and their flackies so eager to keep them in power for just a bit of their sunbeam.
Whatever the case....let Castle win this thing and let his butt vote for anything to help the Dems, in this lame duck or regular session and hey, the country has been put on notice.
Agree!!
I thought Boenher looked bad with his funeral parlor background. The least Axelrod could do is get a suit that fits. And his Hitler style haircut and mustache do not lend to a credible spokesperson.
Or, they are paving the way for Hilary:o)
