I have never seen anything like this, a military Jeep torn completely down and rebuilt in under four minutes. This isnt some gimmick either, they drove it to and from the exhibition. While not "tech" related, this is definitely one of the coolest things you will see all day.

Guess it is part of the training routine....just awesome.

I got to hear from my grandsons on this.
They would probably tell me they do harder stuff.

Just to be clear,...the words there are from Steve at HardOCP.

Try that with a HumVee, I had a 48 Wyllis.

It demonstrates the Jeep’s combination of simplicity and utility, and also the precision of the “take down” team.

The Jeep had to be rigged to do this.

Enjoyed that video.
However, I don't remember ever seeing anyone at our Motor Pool with that much enthusiasm or motivation. :)

Well,..whatever they did it still functioned.
If they reworked it,...that is even more of a testament to skill.

I have a Jeep. I’ll have to send this to my auto mechanic.
Thanks!

In the comments someone was trying to figure out about the fuel connection ...and i was wondering about the radiator.

I did see the radiator come off and go back on damn quick...must have some kind of a quick coupler...
Never saw anything removed relative to the gas supply.

Must be a fake motor that contains an air cooled engine with a fuel supply.

They didn’t torque down the motor mounts very well.
They also didn’t reconnect the wiring harnesses.
We once rebuilt the T90 transmission on a jeep, replacing 2nd gear and all seals and gaskets, in 2 hours. Of course we used an engine hoist to pull the motor and never thought of just pulling the body off. :-)
