Citing a recent Forbes article by Dinesh DSouza, former House speaker Newt Gingrich tells National Review Online that President Obama may follow a Kenyan, anti-colonial worldview.
Gingrich says that DSouza has made a stunning insight into Obamas behavior the most profound insight I have read in the last six years about Barack Obama.
What if [Obama] is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior, can you begin to piece together [his actions]? Gingrich asks. That is the most accurate, predictive model for his behavior.
This is a person who is fundamentally out of touch with how the world works, who happened to have played a wonderful con, as a result of which he is now president, Gingrich tells us.
I think he worked very hard at being a person who is normal, reasonable, moderate, bipartisan, transparent, accommodating none of which was true, Gingrich continues. In the Alinksy tradition, he was being the person he needed to be in order to achieve the position he needed to achieve . . . He was authentically dishonest.
[Obama] is in the great tradition of Edison, Ford, the Wright Brothers, Bill Gates he saw his opportunity and he took it, Gingrich says. Will Gingrich take it back in 2012? The American people may take it back, in which case I may or may not be the recipient of that, but I have zero doubt that the American people will take it back. UnlikeFord, the Wright Brothers, et cetera, this guys invention did not work.
I think Obama gets up every morning with a worldview that is fundamentally wrong about reality, Gingrich says. If you look at the continuous denial of reality, there has got to be a point where someone stands up and says that this is just factually insane.
Gingrich spoke with NRO after the premiere of his new film, America at Risk
“I think he worked very hard at being a person who is normal, reasonable, moderate, bipartisan, transparent, accommodating none of which was true, Gingrich continues.
. . .
That’s true only if you began examining him from the point of the presidential election and didn’t look back. His history, including his voting record, was anything but and the Stepford Media certainly wasn’t going to delve into that.
This is old news. There was an American Thinker article on this topic two years ago.
Of course...we all knew this 2 years ago!
***********
Yes. I remember this being discussed on the talk shows about 20 months ago.
How the mighty have fallen - and can’t get up.
I have been searching for that for months, but cannot remember the title!
********
IIRC there was an essay on the topic at American Thinker MANY months ago.
“This is old news. There was an American Thinker article on this topic two years ago.”
Yes, an earlier essay also by Ikenga.
I knew it was familiar. Greatest revelation in 6 years, eh?

Welcome to the back of the class, Professor Gingrich. Glad you are keeping up with the conversation.
Exactly. Posted here a number of times and spot on.
Bump
Precisely my opinion. Gingrich is NOT, by any means, stupid. He just isn’t presidential material in the current market.
Could it be “The African Colonial”?
I read the article and what anti-colonials miss is that America was once a colony and her people built something out of nothing. We succeeded and certainly are not responsible for others not doing the same. Quite frankly, that shows Obama and his father are/were not deep thinkers.
I have known this sine day one. I will concede and say zero was born in the in America, but he is not American ....
Nice typing on my part ...
That is what I get for freeping on my phone ..
If you look at the continuous denial of reality, there has got to be a point where someone stands up and says that this is just factually insane.Sort of like the continuous state of denial regarding the huge mountain of evidence that AGW is pure fraud, pure politics and zero science? Sort of factually insane like, oh I don't know, Nancy Pelosi and the cap'n'crap-on-the-couch crowd?
(Just wondering.)
(I think Newt is desperate to get his credibility back. Which is laudable in the case of his correct criticisms of Imamobama... but sorry, Newt... I'll always remember that couch.)
Please explain to me WHY I should 'hate Newt's guts'.
Last I checked, today is Sept. 12, 2010. How and why is the Forbes article dated Sept. 27, 2010?
The Forbes article is the first one about the usurper’s mindset that makes sense to me:
“Colonialism today is a dead issue. No one cares about it except the man in the White House. He is the last anticolonial... instead of readying us for the challenge, our President is trapped in his father’s time machine. Incredibly, the U.S. is being ruled according to the dreams of a Luo tribesman of the 1950s.”
I don’t believe I made that statement.
I think it is a magazine article. The issues don’t come out daily.
