Not necessarily true; someone offered to buy my friend’s Toyota SR5 pickup for $1,500. The dark blue body is generally in excellent shape; the bed is beat up because the truck was their general hauler (plastic bed liners and Rhino liners weren’t available at the time as far as he knew). He has over 320,000 miles on the Toyota. I borrowed it a couple times and my only complaint is the manual transmission in “rush-hour” traffic.
