John, I went to a Sandown Republican Committee ‘debate’ hoping to get a close look at Ayotte and Binnie. Neither showed up and I almost walked out. Glad I stayed because the remaining candidates blew me away. Once the panel ended, I got a chance to talk to both for a while and left with an Ovide bumper sticker.

Yesterday, she was on the Howie Carr show on the ride home. Truly an empty blouse. She said nothing more than that she was a conservative and had a track record.

I hope the Binnie and Bender people swing over to Ovide. I think he’ll be a good senator for New Hampshire.

Ayotte has the Sarah Palin endorsement, so Ovide will have to, successfully, get around that. Plus, New Hampshire is a little bit “bluer”, politically, than it has been in the past. I’m going to guess that Ayotte wins the primary, with Ovide second, but I’m hoping that Ovide ends up winning, instead.
