Sometimes, a White House press conference can be a chance for a president to take some weight off his shoulders ... but weight off his fingers?
Eagle-eyed reporters noticed that President Barack Obama wasn't sporting his wedding ring during Friday's White House press conference.
"big to-do over potus not wearing his wedding ring today," Tweeted The Hill's Sam Youngman, who was at the presser.
Obama's wedding band is "an intricate gold design from Indonesia, where he had lived as a boy," the New York Times reported in 2009.
Michelle will probably be okay with it; after all, she once left home without her wedding ring, too.
Looks like there might be some Islamic significance to it. I can’t say, but the design does cause me to think it might be worthwhile to check it out further.

MO, not at all. Muslims do not wear wedding rings.
Think about about it. If you have 5 wives, why would you need a wedding ring when you may be looking for number six?

One very brave reporter suggested that BO might have been so hungry from his Ramadan fast - that he ate it!!!!!

LAter on using man-hands picture of Jillian to ‘get into the forbidden city’ of gorgeous women (”It’s like I’ve already been there, I havea hall pass!”).
He’s looking rather gaunt these days. Perhaps the ring is being down-sized.
That was a HUGE finding, from 59% to 90% is absolutely breathtaking!
So my point again, is that doffing the ring to go “on the prowl” is counterproductive. You just went from 90% of single women that find you attractive wanting you, to 59%!
Even if they were invited, they would have been required to sit separately as men and women do not sit together and do not mingle.
It is one thing to do this at a Muslim meeting, but when he carries on those practices on a normal basis, this would be at least an indication that he is a Muslim or favors Islamic practices.
Remember how much cajoling it took, to get him to wear the American flag lapel pin.
If someone were to list all the indications by mannerisms and action, incidental and overt, that Obama is a Muslim, the list would be in the hundreds.

Yeah, after the fourth woman hit on him, George took the ring off and tried to convince them he wasn’t married. Needless to say they didn’t buy it.
The other one was after his fiancee died and he wanted to his ‘tragic’ story about his fiancee dying, but use a picture of Jerry’s current hot girlfriend to get other hot women to think he was worth going out with, seeing he had had such a pretty fiancee.
