Jesus didn’t use the whip against idol-worshipping Romans but rather against fellow Jews who perverted God’s word for their personal agendas.
He persistently stayed out of politics and concentrated on personal attitude and behavior.
Think about it.
The point is that Jesus DID use a whip. I disagree that he stayed out of politics.
He did not major in politics. However, He was not above tweaking the government.
Mark 8:15 Then He charged them, saying, “Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.”
Luke 13:31 On that very day some Pharisees came, saying to Him, “Get out and depart from here, for Herod wants to kill You.”
