In a press conference designed to defend his economic policies, President Obama waded deeper into religious tensions gripping the nation by speaking out forcefully in defense of religious pluralism.
Speaking a day before the nine-year anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Obama made a passionate plea to Americans to differentiate between terrorists and Muslims.
We have to make sure that we don't start turning on each other, an impassioned Obama said at his first full press conference since May. And I will do everything that I can as long as I'm president of the United States to remind the American people that we are one nation, under God. And we may call that God different names, but we remain one nation.
While the president spent a great deal of time discussing the painfully slow economic recovery and the midterm elections, the majority of the press conference centered on a discussion about U.S. relations with the Muslim world. The summer congressional recess has been dominated by debates surrounding the plans of a New York group to build an Islamic Center blocks from Ground Zero, and a Florida pastors plan, now suspended, to burn copies of the Quran.
While Obama sounded professorial and rehearsed as he repeated his talking points on the economy and the midterms, the president projected a solemn and somewhat impatient tone as he discussed the divide between the U.S. and the Muslim world.

Islam had it’s beginning when Haggar was cast out of Abraham’s tent with Ishmael her son by Abraham: whereas Sahra with son Issach by Abraham started the Christian lineage up to Jesus. The hatred of Islam for Jews and Christians goes back to Abraham and has been augmented by Mohammed and his Koran.
AND people also have the right to counter any religion that they feel is false, and not to be disparaged as racists. There is a difference between a faith and a culture of people, and saying that faith and beliefs are wrong, (such as the stoning to death of woman) has nothing to do with racism, to the contrary it is an act of love to help people who are going in the wrong direction.
For example, An alcoholic needs to be told not to drink. so if the alcoholic happens to be Irish,, just because I tell an Irishman that I feel too much whiskey is not a good thing, and maybe I want to dump it in the sewer or some other disrespectful thing, that does not make me a racist against the Irish, I like good tin whistle and a fiddle the point is , that many Irish may respectfully disagree regarding whiskey, and that is their right, yet I don't expect to see any terrorize my family as a result of my belief that over drinking is wrong, and I don't expect the president to call me a bigot as a result \
This is so plain and basic, Americans have a right to speak up and against things they feel is not right, wheat er it be too many spirit's in the glass our on a page, we have the right to do this without being called bigots and racists, THE SLANDER OF THE CHARACTER OF GOOD PEOPLE HAS TO STOP!

Yeah, right BO.
Everyone knows that once these human skidmarks make sufficient inroads here, coupled with sufficient numbers, the tune will change-we will be dhimmies. A substantial number of “Americans” seem to already be halfway there—and not just the libtards, either.
OK then why do we not hear majority of Muslims condemn the terrorists Muslims. Muslims that do not condemn the terrorists cannot not to be trusted.
It was the only time he showed any emotion and passion.
It’s NOT the same God, buddy boy. And, in fact, if you ask a Muslim he will say the same thing. They only talk about One God and Abrahamic Religions when they are getting their noses under the tent.
Not the same God, not the same Abraham, and not the same Isaac and Jacob—but Ishmael.
Christians worship the Trinity. Muslims condemn that. Christians worship the God of Israel (Jacob). Not the God of Ishmael.
I wonder if this whole Muslim thing has simply been a deliberate red herring introduced as a distraction from the Obammunistic wealth redistributionist polices that have killed our economy?
It really doesn’t make a whole lot of sense otherwise as to why the leftest media and the Obammunists themselves keep making this an issue.
The last thing that we need in this country is an advocate for Islam in the White House. What about the Christians being tortured, starved, raped, enslaved, and killed by Muslims in Sudan? Who is going to speak for them?
Has he accepted the Caliph position the Muslims asked him to take?
