Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano will mark the ninth anniversary of 9/11 with a speech Friday in New York vowing to keep up the fight against terrorists and to “to enlist the nation in its own collective security.”
“[W]e can’t guarantee there won’t be another successful terrorist attack,” Napolitano will tell first responders and emergency workers. “The threats we face are evolving, and enemies like al Qaeda and its affiliates are determined. … Today, on the eve of the ninth anniversary of the worst terrorist attack in our nation’s history, I can pledge to you this: we will do everything in our power to prevent attacks, and to prepare ourselves.”
Here are excerpts from Napolitano’s prepared remarks:
“[O]ver the past year and a half, I have made one of my very top priorities for DHS to get information, to get tools, and to get resources out of Washington, D.C., and into the hands of the men and women serving on the front lines. That includes you – the first responders – but it also includes citizens, community groups, and our partners in the private sector. This may not generate big headlines. But this hometown-centric approach has a big impact on our ability to be effective – and more important – to support you in the field.
“The old view that ‘if we fight the terrorists abroad, we won't have to fight them here’ is just that – the old view. It is abundantly clear that we have to fight them abroad, we have to fight them at home. We have to fight them, period.
“As I’ve said before, we can’t guarantee there won’t be another successful terrorist attack. The threats we face are evolving, and enemies like al Qaeda and its affiliates are determined. We can’t seal our country under a glass dome.

I have no confidence whatsoever in Uncle Janet. She has not taken the most obvious, the most minimal, steps to secure our borders.
Yes, all that means to me is that we will keep surrendering.
Her first priority on being appointed was to promise to keep an eye on Christians, NRA members and “single issue” groups (right to life, 2nd Amendment, etc.). Now she’d
like us to believe she has discovered Islamic terrorists and heard about the attack on 9/11. My guess is she still thinks the biggest threat comes from Rush and Fox News; like Obama, it’s just teleprompter fodder.
They could defuse both if peace was their goal. The open border policy in Mexico will be exploited by terrorists. This administration has advertised to the world they will not enforce it. Seems like they are creating the opportunity.
HAS SHE SAID THIS YET?:
“We will do everything in our power to allow illegal invaders to come into America through our borders unchecked, ESPECIALLY OTM’s.
We will diligently stifle any efforts by any of the states to uphold current laws concerning the security of our borders. We will bring the UN in to sue any state that dares to secure its border and sue them as many ways as we can think of.
Pay no attention to the many killings and crimes committed by our friends to the South and prayer shawls and qurans left behind by the many many OTM’s.
We promise to keep up this diligent work on your behalf!”
Did she say we ARE going to be attacked but don’t worry our enemy is all but a handful LIKE OBAMA JUST did in his presser?
She to busy with her collection of screening photo’s sent to her for her viewing pleasure.

As long as they don’t have to deport the terrorists or seal the border against them. We don’t need a ‘glass dome’ Janet, we need a FENCE!

I am very fearful that they know we are fixing to be hit again. That’s why they are blowing this preacher stuff and NY mosque out of proportion(and talking about Islamophobia).... so they can blame that instead of their own incompetence and appeasement when we are hit.
