We gathered with our college friends who are, or are becoming, empty nesters and watched the game. I was concerned, frankly. If the defense keeps playing like that, it is going to be a long season. At least it was a conference victory. I am looking forward to Dyer getting more play time too.

Young del was able to get the full season tickets. She was so excited. It should be an exciting time down there for her. In my day, Dye’s first so-so year was my last season as a student. Not a single bowl game. :-(
