The problem is now, of course, that he has two years left, and he will finish out his agenda without Congressional help. He will do what they put him in to do, no matter what it costs. There is a bigger agenda here than his legacy.
That’s dictatorial style government to a tee.
Be afraid, be very afraid. It’s going to get ugly.

Plab? Not in my 1950 Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary.
Liberals do a lot of plabbing. Their plabs usually result in disaster. When the plabs are successful, our country suffers. Their most recent plab is to tell the Republicans that they should only focus on the economy in the 2010 elections. The reason they are doing this is to avoid talking about their horrific healthcare plab and their plab to take over the auto industry and the college loan industry and spending our grandchildren’s money and ignoring voters who wanted none of that.
The reason they don’t want to talk about these issues is that they voted for them. They didn’t vote to create the economy (except indirectly). They very specifically voted for healthcare, cap and trade (in the case of the House), all of the TARP and stimulus plabs. Republicans need to hang these plabs around their necks. If they do, almost every seat is in play.

I am looking forward to telling all the Obama supporters Conservatives won. Get over it!That will be fun because when we say that to them they simply will not be able to just grin and bear it.
My drinking game for November will be one drink everytime a lib says "racist" during a discussion of the election. I hope that plug-in external liver arrives in time!

Yep, remember the comments that Conservatism was dead. Even politicians in the Republican party were jumping on that band wagon.
Suddenly, Conservatism is alive and well, and Fascism, Marxism, Socialism, and Communism are on the run. Who knew?
I did. Given two years of Obama, what other outcome could there be.

Obama doesn’t realize he has gone past the point of no return. He has over played his hand and now even his most ardent supporters are backing away when he offers his help. I hope he continues to isolate himself and hopefully his own party will feel the need to impeach this imposter.

I remember that too, but soon that ole tea party showed up like a turd in the punch bowl, ruining everything.

Unless they get a veto-proof majority. If they get a smaller majority, the could de-fund the white house until the 41 tax cheats paid up. They could explicitly de-fund the DOJ suits against Arizona.
I, OTOH, the Republicans just carry on with business as usual, that may well infuriate the Tea Parties to the extent that they form another party.
Think WHIG.

plab? Sure, it’s a combination of “platform” and “blab,” like you blab about your stupid platform, so it’s your “plab.”

the ads here in Illinois from the dems don’t mention party affiliation, and they are all “independents” who are for smaller government and less taxes!
its a joke.
If they don’t have a R or D mentioned in the ad, they are a D, but I’m sure many folks will be fooled. Half our population is retarded.
To: GOP_Lady
They can shirk zero off their campaigns, but they can’t get away from their voting records which reflect lockstep cooperation with zero’s agenda. That makes it their agenda as well. This is the same old sucker-punch setup.
