Tehran on Thursday said that Israel was behind the plan by a United States pastor to burn copies of the Koran on the ninth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the official news agency IRNA reported.
"The software for this plan was made by the Zionists (Israel) following their defeats against Muslims and the Islamic world," Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said in a meeting with foreign diplomats in Tehran.

Mottaki also blamed former US President George W Bush, saying Bush's religious rhetoric after the September 11 attacks led to Islamophobia in the US.

Ayatollah Safi Golpaygani, one of the senior clergy figures in Iran, had on Wednesday harshly condemned the Koran-burning plan and called on the US administration to arrest Terry Jones.
He further warned that if such a "gruesome and inhuman act" took place, Muslims would hold the administration of President Barack Obama responsible.
I am so sick of this non-news. When was the last time the media and world leaders cared this much about some dude desecrating symbols of a religion or idea he didn’t like?
Burning Korans is pointless and dumb, but so is being obsessed with it.
Even if NO koran is burned this Saturday, it’s probably too late and is already a done deal in their minds. Up to now, the non-event has been given way too much publicity. The fun may start next, or even this, Friday after services.

Interpol just warned of terror attacks if this preacher goes through with this Koran burning. Good grief..the whole world is going crazy over one preacher with 50 followers. Something doesn’t add up here.
I am starting to believe this whole thing is being set up as the scapegoat if a terror attack happens on our shores in the coming weeks. They know something we don’t. Likely that an attack has already been planned long ago and will be carried out soon. Add this to the Taliban announcing today that ‘soon they will have victory’ and we might just have the Obama ‘October Surprise’. A terror attack on US shores that they will blame on conservatives and christians. Obama will then have the power to stop the elections and then use the incident to destroy our chances to win back Congress. Far fetched tin foil stuff perhaps...but not beyond the realm of possibility given the evil of Obama and his ruling class thugs.

You are right that anti-semitism--at least in its anti-Israel form--is more the province of the Left. But there are many flavors of supersessionism and I would expect the 'Dove' folks to be on the fringe. Perhaps even as far out as the Identity folks.
Unfortunately I can't research that because their servers have been shut down, reportedly for violating their ISP's 'hate-speech' rules. While I loathe the position that Dove has taken, I am even more concerned about 'hate-speech' rules. That is a very slippery slope.

This whole thing is obviously not about burning books. It’s about how much the jihadis hate us and how much the left and the media love the jihadis and how much the jihadis and the left and the media all hate Christians and Jews.
Exactly..but my point is WHO actually wants to use this as an excuse? My guess is the Obama cult media and Obama himself want to use this as an excuse and political weapon when we get hit. Islamists don’t need excuses..their ‘excuses’ are their own beliefs.

What is interesting about this koran burning issue is the fact that it isn’t an issue if it involves Bibles. There is a U.S. soldier in Afghanistan whose family shipped him boxes of Bibles to give to muslims. The U.S. army confiscated the Bibles and burned them. Have you heard this on the news? Only El Rushbo talked about it.
