If one or two ministers burning a Koran causes entire countries full of Muslims to go berserk

Koran? Heck, look how riled they got over a few Danish cartoons.

The issue has gone beyond burning the Koran as a statement against Islam. It is about the hypocrisy.

Just so. Islam is being privileged above other religions in America. This is as the leftists and jihadis intend. Pastor Jones is exposing and opposing this. May God bless him.

I am torn on this issue. While I have no problem with people (I'd prefer lots and lots of people) burning the Quran in the U.S., I also am painfully aware of what the reaction from Muslim masses (the ignorant ones) will be (and you can bet that their masters will fan the flames of their American hatred following the burnings).

For all of our soldiers currently in harms way, and my son who is set to deploy to Afganistan in April, I have increased fear for their safety over this. However, as this nation's leaders are failing our people in not recognizing the depth of the dangers facing free peoples all around the world, I understand the necessity of uncovering the truth of what Islam really is.

I pray to God for the safety of our soldiers and our nation.

That thing they have in Mecca looks like a Borg Cube. I believe it is apt.

No, the Borg Cube actually served a function.

That cube looks like target practice to me. That’s a function.

Popular opinions and speech don’t need the protection of the First Amendment. What is was designed for was unpopular opinions and speech.

Like burning Korans.

What needs to be done is a consistent, tit-for-tat response. EVERY time a U.S. flag gets burned in some Muslim country, we need to burn a Koran. We need to let them know than this particular Koran is being burned in response to this particular flag being burned. We need to let them know that EVERY time a U.S. flag is burned, a Koran will be burned. We need to take the video of the flag burning, tack on the Koran burning, and release the result as one video. We need to let them know that whoever burns a flag is DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for a Koran being burned. It’s just like training children or dogs; the key is not the severity of punishment, but the certainty of punishment. This one-time thing is a fine gesture, but long term consistency is the key to getting the lesson learned.

Throw another Koran on the fire
Drop a slab of bacon in Mohammad’s beans

Sorry!
Sometimes I just can't help myself.
I just breakout into song.

What you are figuring out is that we are at the final war of mankind on Earth. I don't care whether you are atheist or Baptist, it's your war. The pastor of a small church isn't the point here. We've had KKK marchers, flag burner's, "Piss Christ" displayers, and every type of deviant our Founders couldn't even dream of and we were expected to allow it because it's OUR RIGHT as Americans to believe what we want. Now we have a bunch of throwbacks to the 7th century telling us we are delusional to think we have freedom. They are taking it no matter what you think.

The preacher here is a distraction to the real goal of making all of us fearful of saying and doing anything to stop these barbarians from whatever they want.

You son is going into the belly of the beast and will witness first hand what is coming to America very soon. IMHO, this is the final war, the Biblical war, AntiChrist and all. We will be in perpetual war until the return of Jesus. It's all about the Jews and Israel, whether you want it to be or not. The arch enemy of Israel is the Muslims so we must chose sides. It doesn't matter if you like Israel or not. These ragheads are the followers of a god of death and murder, yet we call them a religion of peace. Is that feeling in your gut fear or peace? They have made their intentions known, yet we still tolerate them in our midst.

I don't care for this preacher either and would rather kick the can down the road myself, but the confrontation is coming no matter what we want. It's like the bully in the school playground. You know he's there waiting to take your lunch money, but you still have to go to school. You either confront him or live in fear all year.

Thank you for that link. There is a lot of information there about the origins of islam. Ishmaelites is the proper name for them.

Surely someone can come up with a Flash animated, realistic virtual burning of a Koran.

>>I have increased fear for their safety over this.<<

I guess we now know how the founding fathers of this nation felt as they declared our independence. God blessed them and will bless our sons and daughters as they defend this one nation under God.

After reading your post to me, I'm thinking that "chuckles" may not be an appropriate moniker for you. Just a thought.

I am aware that we are entering the final war, and that America has been turning her back on God for a long time now. Freedom isn't about being able to do ANYTHING. It's about being able to pursue our own dreams while working for the betterment of our community and nation. Too many in this country believe freedom is all about their narcissistic desires.

FWIW, my son has already seen the "belly of the beast", having served 15 months in Iraq. He has witnessed what average Americans will experience all too soon. My fears are grounded in the anti-God direction this nation has taken, more so than in possibility of death at the hands of these Islamic devils. Everyone dies. Not everyone will ascend to Heaven. I choose to fight on the side of God against these barbarians at our own doorstep.

If you happen to be watching Fox News right now, they are discussing the Imam that just returned from raising money for the NYC Mosque is now threatening that the whole Muslim world is watching and we better let them build the Ground Zero Mosque where it is now or the Muslim world will “explode”( his word not mine). It’s not about the Fla preacher, It’s about the Muslims wanting the end times to begin. It’s time to stop pretending the “Religion of Peace” can live side by side with other humans. I don’t want to fight. I’m not looking for blood. But I’m sick of pretending that these animals want to be my friend. At some point you just have to say, “Let’s Roll!”
