Romney( Ma.,N.H.,Ut.,Mi.,Ca. ) Is Down-Sizing His Reputation For Integrity.

Former Gov. Mitt Romney is down-sizing his stake in Massachusetts.

He sold his Belmont mansion and bought a townhouse in a condo development. And now he more often resides in his $12 million mansion in La Jolla, Calif., or his $10 million house on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire.

Ever since Romney won just 51 percent in the Massachusetts GOP presidential primary, he has seemed less enamored with this state.

And as a GOP presidential candidate for 2012, he apparently wants to distance himself from so-called RomneyCare, the Massachusetts health insurance program that became a model for so-called ObamaCare, the Democrats’ national health care program.

Massachusetts reporters have been kind to Romney in not pressing Romney to explain how he could support a candidate who:

* Failed to stop or report a fellow police officer for illegally strip-searching young teenage girls, and then tried to cover that up;

* Misrepresented his role in that scandal on his application for the state bar exam;

* Tripped red lights to dishonestly bust motorists, according to his police chief;

* Was reprimanded for not telling the truth about breaking his radar gun;

* Advertised that he had a bachelor’s degree from a diploma mill with no faculty or accreditation, claiming, “I graduated with honors and a 3.8 grade point average.”

When Romney endorsed Perry, surely he was ignorant of the candidate’s past. But now? The media have been reporting on these scandals for months.

Romney is totally ungrounded in every way.

I have never seen a more ethereal politician, the only thing that I can recognize in him, is that he wants something.

At least he has a better learning curve than Obama...which isn’t a compliment.

The only good thing I can say about him is that he just endorsed Huffman, who is running against Wyden in OR.

That wasn’t a tough decision, though.

Mitt Romney can try all he wants to to run away from RomneyCare, but it won’t work. All of the past, present, and future problems with RomneyCare will, also, successfully finish any chances for political victory for Mitt Romney.

I agree...it won’t work. But, at least he’s trying to undo the damage to his image. However, that, in and of itself, is a reason to ostricize him from the party...and spit on his shoes.

He wants to please his father, or the LDS. Everything else is to be picked up, or discarded, as needed.

If Rommey gets the GOP nomination in 2012 I’ll vote third party. RINOs need not apply as far as I’m concerned.

Downsizing? It must be microscopic by now.
