They were cured by making a better choice, not by treating the disorder. I don’t think they become “ex-homosexuals”. I just think they start making better choices in life.

I guess that depends on how you define being a "homosexual". Since the disorder is ONLY known by it's symptoms (homosexual behavior) the only way we have to track it is to track the symptom. If homosexual behavior stops (including urges to commit that behavior) then the disease is cured. Tens of thousands of people no longer commit homosexual behavior nor do they struggle with persistent urges. (Similar in fact to ex smokers, they may be smoke free for years yet every once in while have a short term pang for a cigarette. That pang does not make them a "smoker")

I don’t believe in the “hard-wired” explanation of sexuality.

I do. We are all hard wired to be heterosexual. The biology doesn't lie.

I think we are probably on the same page, just looking at it from slightly different angles

I think we are hard-wired to do evil. It’s our default nature. Some people resist it and some give into it.

Case in point; All the men who get married, have kids and then decide they are gay and were never attracted to women at all. Bull. You can’t get married, have sex all those times and not be somewhat attracted to the person.
