My Hate Speech Conviction
Townhall.com ^ | September 8, 2010 | Mike Adams

Over the summer, I was convicted of anti-gay hate speech. The most incredible thing about it was that I never set foot in Canada. The conviction happened while I was in Colorado. But the offense took place almost 15 years ago.

In the 1990s, a friend of mine announced that he was divorcing his wife because he had decided (after a couple of unhappy marriages) to pursue the gay lifestyle. My decision to support him was born out of ignorance. Not only was I harboring the illusion that there actually was such a thing as a gay gene. I was also ignorant of the fact that gays could be successfully cured through therapeutic efforts.

My decision to label my own verbal support of his lifestyle choice as “hate speech” makes sense only after one becomes educated about that lifestyle. According to the Centers for Disease Control, over 82% of all known sexually-transmitted HIV cases in 2006 were the result of male-to-male sexual contact. Moreover, gay and bisexual men account for over 60% of all syphilis cases.

Some will say that homophobia is the indirect cause of such numbers. They claim that fear of stigmatization keeps gays from seeking information before they become ill and from seeking medical help afterwards. But, clearly, that is not the case. In cultures where homosexuality is more accepted the numbers are worse. That is why I steadfastly maintain that supporting my friend’s decision to turn to the homosexual lifestyle was indeed an example of hate speech.

Most gays become angry when someone tells the truth about the health consequences of their lifestyle choice. The reason they get angry over the facts is because their conscience convicts them. When I came to realize that I helped make it easier for my friend to pursue his unhealthy lifestyle my conscience was convicted. I have regretted my verbal support of his decision ever since.

No sane person could ever posit that the act of rectal sodomy is safe, normal, or healthy. The rectum is a one-way street. It is a sewer meant for the expulsion of poison. Treating the rectum as a sex organ is damaging to the health – especially for the recipient of such abuse. That is why it is an act of hate, regardless of whether some choose to call it “love.”

But the gay lifestyle has never been about love. The average number of lifetime sex partners is four for a heterosexual, fifty for a homosexual. Monogamy is the norm (82%) among heterosexuals, and an aberration (2%) among homosexuals. This promiscuity is routed in the pairing of similar traits, which is an inevitable result in homosexual relationships.

It should go without saying that women have greater emotional needs than men, while men have greater physical needs than women. They need each other to balance one another out. And that is why when two men are together the physical aspects of the relationship spiral out of control to the point of compulsion. That is why estimates show that anywhere from 21-43% of homosexual males have had several hundred sex partners.

One study of white male homosexuals, published in the 1970s, showed that 43% of white males had sex with over 500 partners. Over one-quarter (28%) had sex with over 1000 partners. When these drives are unchecked they often go in dangerous directions. Although homosexual men are only about three percent of the population, they commit about one-third of all acts of child molestation.

Even pseudo-conservative Andrew Sullivan knows that homosexuality is about unbridled sexual pursuit rather than love. He openly claims that homosexuals need more than one sex partner and that heterosexual relationships are too restrictive. But he refuses to see succumbing to sexual temptation as a weakness. Instead, he calls it a sign of “honesty” and “flexibility.”

Andrew Sullivan thinks we should all become more like gays. In his calls for the majority to conform to the minority he reveals the fundamental narcissism that is at the core of the gay lifestyle. From Andrew Sullivan’s perspective, homosexuality is all about self-gratification.

But love, by definition, seeks the ultimate good of the loved one by forsaking all others. That is why we must steer our loved ones away from the homosexual lifestyle and suffer the slings and arrows of the true perpetrators of hate speech.

I recently read that lesbians have high rates of domestic abuse.

I read recently that internal injuries are more likely if their sexual partner uses a fake, um, you know.

This article hits the nail right on the head. It needs reposting everywhere.

It doesn’t answer the question, “why is it immoral to have sex with a member of one’s own gender?” When heterosexuals fly from partner to partner, engaging in sodomy without protection, they get diseases, too.

Why do you think the Catholic Church's position is that all sex must be unitive and potentially procreative in nature to be lawful? Because it is a rational position that rings all those bells--and just happens to be completely in synch with nature as well.

Btw, it isn’t just diseases. There is also physical damage done to internal organs by using the wrong part of the body as a receptacle for something that doesn’t belong there. That particular orifice is a shoot not an “in” door. Tearing and puncturing internal organs is common. Also anal sex is a cause of cancer. That is also abnormally high among homosexuals.

Homosexuality is defined as sex between members of the same gender. That definition stands whether the people in question are promiscuous or committed, monogamous or polygamous, physically healthy or dying of AIDS, using condoms or using nothing. If homosexuality is synonymous with promiscuity, simply because the two are highly correlated in the real world, does that mean two men who ONLY have sex with each other are not homosexual?

My point is that, even though homosexuality and sexual promiscuity/carelessness issues coincide when we’re talking about the typical homosexual lifestyle, they’re actually two unique moral issues, and they ought to be addressed as such. From what all three of you have said, I think we all agree that homosexuality and promiscuity are both wrong, together and by themselves—it’s not okay to be homosexual just because you aren’t promiscuous, nor is it okay to be promiscuous just as long as you aren’t homosexual. So don’t you see the logical disconnect between the question “why is wrong for a man to have sex with another man?” and the answer “because most men who have sex with men are also sexually promiscuous”? That answer merely restates the fact that we’re dealing with men having sex with men and then adds that promiscuity is bad. That’s not a convincing argument, and that’s my beef with this article. IF homosexuality were wrong because and ONLY because of promiscuity, if you took away the promiscuity, then homosexuality would be a moral non-issue—in which case, instead of debating homosexuality, you should be debating promiscuity.

I think gays are only promiscuous because promiscuity is reinforced in the mainstream gay “culture.” They hate traditional sexual morality (because it contraindicates homosexuality) and think they need to depart as far from it as possible. Either that, or the inability to commit to one partner and the desire to take risks is a by-product of whatever condition made them homosexual. But it’s possible to be both gay and sexually “safe”—not that it makes the homosexuality acceptable in itself.

Someone said that because Adams writes so often about homosexuality, he must be obsessed with the issue of homosexuality because he himself has something to hide. I was pointing out the ridiculousness of that notion.

See my post 68.

Same sex attraction is a deviancy. It is not the norm no matter how much you try to obscure the point. It remains an abnormal behavior.

You are also purposely, I believe, ignoring that promiscuity is part of the illness and is much more prevalent in homosexuals.

From the article: Monogamy is the norm (82%) among heterosexuals, and an aberration (2%) among homosexuals.

You are making excuses for a mental illness. What normal person wants to get every disease known to man? Only homosexual "bug catchers". These are people that are ill. They don't need special rights or sympathy. They need help.

It’s tragic.

I was watching a show just the other day about a young girl who was molested. As she matured she began to take on the identity of a man and attempted suicide twice soon thereafter. On her second attempt, her story came out and the doctor said, correctly I believe, that her identity issues were related to her molestation. Because of the abuse, she didn’t want to be attractive to men.

Rather than trying to help her through the emotional effects of molestation, he suggested she pursue a sex change operation. To me, that was the ultimate brush off of something that had deeply harmed a young woman in a great deal of pain.

Mention of the spread of only two diseases barely scratches the surface of the dozens of diseases spread by the #1 vector for their epidemic infectivity rate. People are told by homowood and the old media that what homos do behind closed doors is their business and is harmless but, the cost to healthcare, the development of antibiotic-resistant microbes is born by all taxpayers. Homosexuals jack up our healthcare costs, insurance costs, and research costs.

This is why surgery is such a tragic mistake and mistreatment of confused people who are in great pain. It’s morally wrong.

Yes. Someone has posted a list of the diseases that homosexuals are subject to, but I’m sorry to say I can’t recall who. It may be either DJ or lj.

Male homosexuals have the highest incidence of HIV/AIDS, syphilis, drug-resistant gonorrhea, entamoeba histolytica, chlamydia, herpes simplex II, Chancroid, Drug Resistant TB, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis non A & B, just to name a few. Hollywood and the press, of course, never discuss the CDC facts, but if you want to look for yourself the information is in the scientific literature. More than any other segment of society, the homosexuals are costing us billions in medical care. I don’t want to pay expenses for smokers either, but at least they don’t spread infectious agents. There is a notable homosexual group, consisting of thousands of members and tens of thousands more underground, known as the North American Man and Boy Love Association ( NAMBLA). This is a group of male child/boy molesters whose cry is “SEX BEFORE 8 BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE.” This group has been welcomed and seen marching in most major homosexual parades across the United States. Homosexuals commit more than 40% of all reported child molestations in the United States, which, assuming homosexuals make up 2% of the population, means that 1 in 19 homosexuals is a child molester.

The statistics are shocking. I believe that if more people were aware of the reality of this lifestyle there would be a much different attitude toward homosexual “marriage” and DADT. I don’t think that it has been understood, for example, that homosexuals do not often consider “marriage” to include monogamy.

John Hopkins doesn't do sex reassignment surgery anymore.

Johns Hopkins Psychiatrist Urges End To Sexual Reassignment Surgery

Dr. Paul McHugh, University Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University, urges that psychiatrists put an end to sexual reassignment surgery (SRS) for individuals with gender identity confusion.

"We have wasted scientific and technical resources and damaged our professional credibility by collaborating with madness rather than trying to study, cure, and ultimately prevent it."

One of the things that is in the book After the Ball is to do away with morality. It’s on pages 64 to 67.
