What’s most interesting about what this article is talking about is that this mosque thing is working in conjunction with the Tea Party movement to show people they can move the discussion without permission from the government or the pundits.
It’s showing us that after decades of HEARING it, we are making the “You have a voice in this government!” cliches (which have NOT been true for decades) mean something.
And ironically, it’s not the noisy leftists who are leading this “people’s” revolt, and that scares the hell out of them.
That whole "speaking truth to power" thing is no fun when the Leftists are up in the castle and the Conservatives are carrying pitchforks and torches.
