If in fact the only book that is dangerous to burn is the Koran, then as Americans it should be our sacred duty to burn them until it was so common an event that nobody would think twice about it. Until we have reached that point, then the Islamists are winning and liberty is the loser.
Bullseye, P-M. This issue is only an issue because our leaders are afraid. Had they left this pastor alone and simply allowed him to have his koran burning, I doubt any other than his local group of attendees would even have known of it.
But everyone from Obama to Petraeus is running away scream that the sky is falling.
They've made it necessary to burn that paper and ink just to make the point that we're not afraid of the mohammedite cultocracy.
It's like Indianapolis cowering in fear at the Rev Jim Jones cult.

This simply shows that it’s more about yourselves than about anything else.
Where is the Jesus Christ to be seen in this. Anybody who is not Islamic can show they hate a Koran by burning it, from astrologists to Zoroastrians.
