Nineteen innocent Muslims, all members of the Religion of Peace, were murdered by the Jewish investors and architects who built the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in front of their airplane, or planted tall crops in front of their flight path over Pennsylvania. No doubt those deaths are considered hate crimes against Islam by the people who blame Jews for everything.

If a crime happens to anyone who happens to belong to one of these groups (based on religion, race, gender, sexual orientation, immigration status, etc.) no-matter what the real motivation for the crime, it is instantly labelled a "hate crime"...

I've been the victim of robbery and assault. Neither were hate crimes. Muslims shooting up a Jewish center in Seattle in 2006 was a hate crime.

Here in The People's Republic of Seattle, such a category would instantly fill the courts and cause the legal system to grind to a halt.  Starting with the rampant vandalism of cars with Conservative or Republican bumper stickers on them to vandalism of homes with yard signs for Conservative political candidates to bias against Conservative students in public schools and Universities to bias against Conservatives in the workplace to militant feminists yelling and swearing at a Gent who dares to hold a door open for a woman at a public place,  the list goes on and on.

No doubt those deaths are considered hate crimes against Islam by the people who blame Jews for everything.

Agreed, although I would suggest that it won't be long before muslims grow tired of such Western niceties as our legal system and Constitution, and yearn for other options even though they have been quite successful at using those two bedrocks of our culture as weapons against us.  They are simply too slow for the modern muslim.

It can't be long before they will begin to openly call for a resumption of The Final Solution as the only way that their 'civil rights' can be protected.  They will demand Government-run trains and cattle cars be tasked for the job and they will demand the construction of highly-efficient furnaces. 

And the Left will do all they can to help them out with this goal.....failure to do so would, of course, be 'racist'.

Well, it varies based on the target racial or ethnic group, depending upon which ethnic group is currently the darling of the American "Progressive" Left.

I'll illustrate:

Here, we'll play, "Let's Define a Hate Crime!"

• Walking into a Jewish Day-Care, screaming 'Death to all Jews!', and setting off a couple of 10-pound nail-bombs -- might be an anti-Jewish Hate Crime. Possibly merits investigation. (At the very least, we should try to understand the suicide bomber's grievances....)

• Drawing a Political Cartoon poking fun at Mohammed -- DEFINITELY an Anti-Muslim HATE CRIME!

Others are free to offer examples which might help clarify.

But the point is, in comparing the numbers of "hate crimes" allegedly committed against Jews or Muslims, it's useful to remember that a "Hate Crime" against a Jew pretty much requires Mass Murder or significant Arson or both; but "Hate Crimes" against Muslims can be understood to include acts which are, you know, hurtful to their feelings and such.

Should have said "religious group" or "ethno-religious group"; Muslims are not uniformly Arab, albeit the worst of the Wahhabi Muslims generally are.
