The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
Wonderful and crystal clear photos of the three! I’m sure President Bush enjoyed *this* particular interview! Thanks very much, dmd25!
I would think so. Most of their stuff usually is.
Thank you!
You are welcome, onyx. I am sure he enjoyed this one, too. :)
It’s wonderful to see and listen to a real President on all the channels and his pictures plastered everywhere!
A great break from 0h0m0’s news spam!
I miss ya W, what a great American!
THANK YOU, dmd25! Fantastic pictures of my favorite people......wonderful President Bush with Steve and Brian! All good people.
I got my copy in the mail this afternoon.
Some Chicagoans appreciate this good man .. ;)

AmBush ‘em . . .
Sneed is told President George W. Bush signed the guest register before his luncheon at the Union League Club on Thursday in an unusual way.
The upshot: Rather than affix his signature chronologically, Bush placed his signature next to that of his father, President George Herbert Walker Bush — who had visited the club before.
Quoth Bush to Union League CEO Jonathan McCabe, who requested the signature: “Oh, OK, can I sign next to my Dad? How many times have you seen ‘John Quincy Adams’ next to ‘John Adams’? Now you had better take care of that book because these days there are very few places with registers like this, so the chance of finding the two signatures together is very slim.”
The endshot: “Oh, we will sir,” said McCabe. “Thank you, Mr. President.” The guest register was then placed in a vault.
The Bush beat . . .
Mayor Daley and former President George W. Bush are close friends. This/close.
Hug ‘em: They exchanged big bear hugs upon greeting each other Thursday in a private room at the Union League Club.
Write ‘em: Bush advised Mayor Daley on how to effectively retire, which included writing a memoir. (Daley verified he intended to write a book . . . as per Sneed’s tip weeks ago.)
Fetch ‘em: Bush volunteered to personally bring Daley a cup of coffee in a private meeting before the Union Club luncheon. Daley declined . . . but surprised Bush on Veterans Day by bringing along “your biggest fan,” Daley’s soldier son, Patrick, who served in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan and treasures a White House picture taken with Bush when Patrick was still wearing his uniform.

SO typical of him .. and historically rare and unique: to sign next to his dear Dad .. ;)
Wow-fascinating, STARWISE! Thanks for posting that. I love that GWB thought of signing his name next to his dad's. Wish they had taken a picture so we could see it!
Awesome and really not surprising is it?
George W Bush is the compleat man. None other like him!
REMINDER:
1.) Tonight at 9 PM, Hannity is scheduled to air Part 2 of his interview with President Bush — the interview is supposed to feature NEW content not included in the original interview broadcast last Tuesday.
2.) Tomorrow morning, President Bush and Laura will appear on CBS Sunday.

OH, “just in time reminder”! I will now stand by for part two! Thanks for the reading material while I wait.
I will check DirectTV for cBS Sunday.
Thanks very much, Dr. Deb!!
I love that he signed next to his Dad! Thanks so very much for finding this gem!
Thanks for the heads-up, Deb! I would have missed it! Yikes!
He has done a magnificent job on all the interviews. So articulate
and intelligent..SO unlike what he was portrayed by the stupid press!
It seems that this is a REPEAT of Hannity’s Tuesday interview — bummer. [Of course, it was such a good interview that I’m enjoying watching it a second time!]
Love Sneed’s ‘inside’ information!
Thank you, DrDeb for the reminders and for the links to the great articles.
I agree, Eric Golub should be an honorary member of the DOSE!! He surely shares our sentiments toward President Bush. Eric would never be the only person standing up for W....cause we, DOSERS, would be right there with him!
Yes, and my dear husband reminded me that I have this one recorded and saved, so he is watching a movie.
;)
