GWB UPDATE . . .
AMERICANS ALREADY RETHINKING GEORGE W BUSH; HIS POLL NUMBERS NOW BUT ONE POINT BELOW OBAMA’S
[Remember the 5 point rule: When dealing with ANY polling results, with the possible exception of Rasmussen’s results, always add 5 points to the Republican and subtract 5 points from the Democrat.]

Thanks for the good news and great links! I watched Hannity’s interview last night and it was absolutely wonderful. I am always encouraged by the president’s absolute sense of self and peace and love of country! He is a man who is never tossed about by the winds of change.
We will be waiting to see your “after-action” report! I am SO jealous!! I didn’t even get to see him when he was in Midland. Sadly, I had to work that day! GRRR!
You forgot to insert the fact that you will be in attendance at tomorrow's event. We can't wait for the report!
Did you mean to include a link with the blurb about the Villages residents? (Wonder if our dear Tony Snow's dad was in that line? He lives there--or did last I knew.)
I loved Sean's interview last night and look forward to more. (Though I did think Sean needed help in the clothing department! That shirt wasn't particularly flattering to him.)
GWB has such strong moral principles by which he lives. I wish people could understand that about him and see what value it adds to life.
Let’s just hope he keeps punching out books & we will see & hear a lot of him!
thanks for links Deb
Another great Pres. Bush appearance today, with Matt Lauer.

He’s FIRMLY in charge .. ;)
Keep it up, Matt .. every time you do this,
you look punier and punier.
Thank you for the Ping, Starwise! I Missed Rush’s Interview with our President, but will Check the Rush 24/7 Website to See if it’s Archived.
Thank you for the Wonderful Pics, Dmd25!
Am listening to the interview now. What an idiotic question/statement by Matt Lauer thinking that GWB had the media in mind when writing the book. I LOVED GWB’s response!!!
I loved it when I watched it this morning, and loved watching it again. Thanks for linking it.
It is, Kitty! :)
I loved the way Rush started off--by asking about the comments from people who miss him. He was talking about all of us! :)

Oops, that’s what I get for multi-tasking! Here’s the link:

Thanks so much for posting the link Starwise. Our W has been great during all these interviews.
He appears very relaxed and conversational with all these different people. It’s been a delight to watch.
Have a great time tomorrow. I can’t wait for your after action report.
This has been pure heaven to see President Bush doing these back-to-back interviews. It’s like reconnecting with a long-lost relative you haven’t seen in years. What’s remarkable is that Bush has remained the humble, kind man who hasn’t let fame get to his head and his quirky sense of humor remains as sharp as ever.
Thanks for posting the links. Yes indeed, GWB is drawing sell-out crowds. Contrast that to Obama’s campaign appearances which were pathetically weak and he had trouble getting crowds to fill up the rooms whenever he appeared!
At this relatively mellow moment in his life, George W. Bush, the 43rd president of the United States, wants nothing more than to be a good friend and neighbor. Standing on the front step of his red brick ranch house in suburban Dallas, sipping a cup of coffee, his black Scottish terriers Barney and Miss Beazley at his feet, he comes to life when he spots the guy next door getting ready to leave for work. "Sleeping in this morning?" he yells across the lawn with a friendly grin. "That's where Barney made his deposit," he adds, referring to an amusing story in his new memoir, Decision Points, about being leader of the free world one day and scooping Barney's mess off the neighbor's front yard the next.
Aside from a few Secret Service agents and a big American flag hanging near the front curb, there is little that sets this house apart from the others on the cul-de-sac where the former president and first lady live except maybe the beautifully landscaped putting green that George, who loves golf, built on the empty lot he owns next door. "Laura turned it into Versailles," he says. "I turned it into Augusta."
Also, check out the audio clips of the interview. The very last audio clip is a hoot - that's where one of the Bushes' dogs, Miss Beasley barks while Bush was speaking!
WOW! He’s having a MEDIA WEEK.
I really enjoyed his interview with Sean Hannity.
