The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
Thanks for posting the pictures and the link to the video. I watched the game on the Nashville Fox station. I could not see where the ball hit because they moved the camera away so quick, but Fox and Friends replayed it this morning. I was glad President Bush was there I knew he would bring them luck
I missed it. Hubby set to autotune but it must have been thrown before 5pm.
He looks rested and well! Thanks again!
Thank you
absolutely wonderful pix Patty.. thanks so much for sharing and for the ping
Thanks so much!
Awesome pictures...and for me, it was THE highlight of a very good Ranger win. LOL!
Thanks for being on top of things and sharing your pictures with us!
Thank you SO much for posting them for us.
The pitch was great (he sure hasn't lost his arm!), the catch not so very much. ;*) Poor Nolan! W probably won't ever let him live it down!
Thanks again for your yeoman's work to keep us up to speed on what OUR President is doing!
Hi, onyx, my long lost FRiend! :)
I see our President is right in with fashion vogue...ha! ‘Orange’ shirt.. and it is the color of the year.
Nice shots Patty...always appreciate them.
Thanks for posting the video! (((HUGS)))
Thank you for the wonderful new pictures of President Bush throwing the ball in the World Series. I loved the video, too. Thanks so much for all your hard work, Patty!!!!
Great, Great pictures. Thanks for posting the pix and the links. I just loved the ovations our W rec’d from the crowd.
Thanks SO much, patty, for the great pics and video
The comments are just about as heartwarming. Sniff ...
Thanks for the ping and the link. President Bush must be so proud of his Rangers. Just one more win and they will bring the trophy home
Wonderful photos, Patty. Did my heart good to wake up and see them this morning. Also, the roar of that crowd really will make this day for me. At least there’s some people in this world who know a quality human being when they see one. :)
Thanks everyone for all your nice comments. Having President Bush throw out the first pitch on Sunday was exactly what the Texas Rangers needed to give themselves a confidence booster and it has worked thus far!
Seeing him walk out to the mound to deafening cheers sent shivers down my spine...just priceless. There are few people like him who can whip up such an enthusiastic and heartwarming response. And I believe that’s why so many people miss having a President who is humble, patriotic and loves this country over petty politics.
