The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
It sure was
One of the Riders is from my home town
Awesome! Sorry this happened to your local hero (his injuries) but glad he got to ride with our president. That’s some rugged country they biked through!
Oh man, do I miss that First Family!
I did not agree with all of President Bush’s policies or decisions, but I always got back a relevant letter when I wrote to him, he was unabashed in his Faith, and put in the policies that resulted in the recent killing of the evil bin laden. AND he loved America and cared about our military.
Thank you, Kaslin, for this thread.
Kaslin, thank you so much for the link to that video. It was wonderful to watch. I love “G-Dub,” what one warrior called our Dubya. :)
President Bush IS a tough man, but also kind, gentle and as decent as the year is long. Too bad so many so-called conservatives still don’t know what we had in the White House when he was our president.
I loved it when the warrior referred to GWB as "G-Dub." :)
I miss him so much!
We knew we would miss him. I think there are many people who didn't realize they would who are now missing him terribly.
Some of them do, but they are too afraid or immature to say it out loud.
The ones who don't see it yet are just crackpots.
GREAT .... SUPER fantastic video, Kas. Thanks!
Look at GDub go! (love the nick) He’s amazing.
God love him and protect him always.
Video here of GDub with Stephanuffalgus before the W100 ride. Note the gentle, but pointed dig at Stepphie at the end. He knows ...
GDub’s as sharp as a tack and always was.

An interview with Condi follows, and then comes Pres. Bush again .. at the Bush Center groundbreaking.
President Bush never missed ANYTHING! The press tried to paint
him as dumb and/or vague, but he IS and was sharp as a tack!
I would pit him against any of THEM and he’d win!
He likes to pretend he’s this good ole Texas hick, but it ain’t so! :)
Great stuff!
When Bush Got the Bin Laden Call (While Eating a Souffle)
Here's two pics of GWB at the SALT financial conference in Las Vegas last Wednesday, April 11th. This is related to the above article and the ABC News article (see post #1,771) about W speaking publicly for the 1st time on OBL's death
Another bonus pic of GWB enjoying his usual bike ride at Northshore Trail Park in Grapevine, TX on Saturday morning!
Thank you, Kaslin—checking in late. Can’t believe I haven’t been here since Friday. Anxious to read all these posts!
At the Armada Pharmacy summit in Las Vegas, last Wednesday, May 11th:
At the Alliance Defense Fund dinner in Dallas on Saturday. Hugh Hewitt was the moderator and interviewed GWB. Hugh talked about it on his show on Monday but couldn't go into much detail because it was off the record unfortunately :(
I sure miss him and Laura
THANKS for the great updates and photos . . . Your summary statement says it all: Our president is “looking fab and living life to the fullest!”
You’re very welcome. It can be quite a challenge to find any great photo or interesting story on GWB since he’s not out there in the news that often. But it’s worth trying and hard work and patience sure doesn’t hurt! :)
After what the current occupant of the WH said today (re: Israel), I miss GWB even more tonight than I did last night.
The more the usurper-traitor does, the more I miss having an HONORABLE President....one with courage, integrity and character.
We have lost SO much!!
Thanks again for keeping us updated on what President Bush is doing these days! He looks great!
