MIR ALI: Pakistani officials say suspected US missiles have killed five militants in a tribal region near the Afghan border.
Two intelligence officials say the Saturday evening strike targeted a house and a vehicle in a village near Miram Shah, the main town in North Waziristan.
They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release the information to the media. It was third such attack in the area in 24 hours.
High value target maybe?
That would be nice.
Bill Roggio's website, The Long War Journal, keeps track of the drone strikes.
They now report eight killed.
Among all the charts and graphs, there's this list:
Senior al Qaeda and Taliban leaders killed in US airstrikes in Pakistan, 2004 - 2010
someone posted in another thread they were after Zarahawi.
Keep the pressure on.
In case you haven't figured it out, these are all made-up headlines that will never happen because a "D" is in the White House. Same policy, different party = ramapant hypocrisy. Any questions?
