The Las Vegas Review-Journals copyright infringement lawsuit partner on Friday sued U.S. Senate candidate Sharron Angle over R-J material posted on her website, allegedly without authorization.
The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas by Righthaven LLC, seeks damages of $150,000 against Angle personally and forfeiture of her website domain name sharronangle.com.

What's the deal with this R-J and their lawsuits? They sound like they desperately need a visit from the Orkin Man, with all hands present in a sealed office.

The law firm(s) involved should be disbarred

Democrats can’t win on the merits of their policies or their records, so they have to resort to underhanded tactics like this, to try to destroy their opponents.
It’s the worst sort of ugly politics, and I hope the voters of Nevada see through it.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal I think these are the same clowns suing everyone under the sun hoping they get a shakedown out of court settlement?
To: hinckley buzzard
As I understand it, they wait until they find an infringement THEN they file with the copyright office. Their suits ought to be thrown out of court, or at least limited to cease and desist orders to the infringing parties.
There should be no money judgments ordered for this kind of blood-sucking-attorney shenanigans.

In a year Righthaven LLC is going to bankrupt buried in court ordered legal expense reimbursement to others.
I hope the lawyers that operate this “company” are held personally accountable. They deserve to be financially destroyed.

Reid is ahead 50 to 47 in latest Rasmussen poll.
It is so stupid to nominate some one whom Reid will beat easily.
Sue Lowden would have beat Reid easily.
So now we get Reid for another 6 years.

From this article, looks like that is exactly going on. Article says this same outfit also sued Democratic party.

Read the article. They’ve sued everyone, from the Dem Party of NV to Dem Underground to Free Republic.
