I’m wondering the same. Why was she hired in the first place? If they found out she was gay after she was hired, why wasn’t she let go immediately?

Not only was she "gay," but the critical issue is that she is a homosexual activist. She was in a long-term romantic relationship with another woman; this couldn't have been secret. The eventual "marriage" was just a logical conclusion to her activism. Don't doubt for a minute that she would have pushed the school for benefits for her "spouse."

No wonder most "Catholic" young people are in favor of same-sex "marriage." Their leaders let the sodomites teach them.
