Republican Mark Kirk will receive a major money boost for his Senate bid, thanks to a recent special election ruling in Illinois that ups fundraising limits for the race.

POLITICO has learned the National Republican Senatorial Committee has dedicated $3.4 million in coordinated funds to Kirk’s campaign against Democrat Alexi Giannoulias.

Are they putting as much or more into Sharon Angle?

They should since the races in Illinois and Nevada show close contests, but RINO’s no doubt get the money from NRSC.

That’s why conservatives don’t give to NRSC and should give it to Sharron Angle direct.

Is RNC wasting money on him in the Primary? To run against another Republican? Hells Bells.

Its general election campaign money for a race where the polling is close, but as I posted before it seems to me that Sharron Angle is just as entitled to NRSC money since she is in a close one with Reid.

But I’m not holding my breath and I think conservatives should support Angle, Joe Miller and Rand Paul directly, among others.

I agree, the big wave of voters who went Dem last time and are going Rep this time don’t know beans about conservativism. But after we do all we can in the primaries, any R will keep Pelosi and Reid out of power. Unfortunately some mush minded, weenie Repubs will use that thought to coattail into a seat. Don’t give up the fight.

Waste of money. Decent Republicans could use that dough.

Here’s my opinion on the whole thing. Kirk won the primary. The other Republicans ran way too many people and he won, fair and square. Whether we think he’s terrible, or a RINO, he’s much better IMHO than Alex G., and I would at least feel like he might listen to us conservatives if he wins. The race is completely even right now according to the polls, and conservatives or tea party types probably won’t give much money to him, so I think it’s a good thing for the RNC to do.
I do NOT want Alex G. and Durbin to be my two senators.

It was fixed by the Combine. Kirk will either switch parties or do his damndest to ensure the leftist agenda goes through. Alexi gets elected, he gets indicted, goes to jail. Gov. Brady appoints a real NON-Combiner Republican to the vacancy (which won’t be Scumbag Kirk). It’s worse if Kirk wins, and we can’t afford to let that happen.
