My whole point, which is completely lost on many ardent Freepers, is that Koresh was the central, messianic figure of a cult who's questionable doctrines included polygamy and child marriage. Sheriff Joe is nowhere in this same category.

At the time of the tragedy, I was a cop, and was appalled that police officers attempting to execute a search warrant were gunned down. The questionable facets of the search warrant and the evidence used to obtain it are beside the point - these officers were operating in good faith.
