The Democratic Governors Association is accusing Fox News of making an illegal campaign contribution to a Republican gubernatorial candidate, the Huffington Post reports. The DGA reportedly filed a complaint with the Ohio Elections Commission accusing Fox of giving Ohio candidate John Kasich free political advertising. (Snip) Promoting Kasich's website while he was on air amounted to free political advertising, the DGA is arguing, which would be a violation of election laws. Fox also violated the rules by failing to provide a "paid for" disclaimer on its political advertisement, the DGA is charging.

Perhaps the GOP should grow some backbone and charge all the other networks for campaign contributions to Democrats for the past 50 years.
Tough Tits Dems...Suck it up!
Oh don’t worry, I’m sure FOX and the GOP will accept the bogus premis by the Dems and apologize!
A simple donation search will sure embarrass the Dem. Governors. The amounts from NBC and GE alone will make this story go away pronto.
I assume the Obama FCC will now shut down FOX until the DGA is satisfied (probably on Nov 3rd). As if Time Warner Cable isn’t already trying to do it.
LOL....and the really, really bad thing is that people actually watch Fox and see these ads. If PMSNBC ran free ads for the Dems, no one would see them so no one would complain.
Deer in headlights alert!
It would be easy to prove, they are doing nothing but reciting the faxes they receive from the White House.
Sorry, that's politically incorrect.
But hasn't the MSM's orgy of tongue-lavished praise on Obama just been one giant in-kind campaign contribution?
Really, what took them so long?
They (the MSM and liberals) are coming out like a arm swinging, leg stomping, temper tantrum throwing, hell bent wayward child.
Sit down before you hurt yourselves come next November.
The desperate have no shame!
Turn about is fair play. No?
DGA’s executive director acknowledged that attacking Fox raises money for the Democrats, which is really all this ‘complaint’ amounts to. It will - rightly - go nowhere.
Kasich pulls into a double digit lead, Dems file fake lawsuit.
Typical.
Crybaby Sonsofbeach’s
Didn’t we just have a Supreme Court ruling that allows private business to participate in supporting candidates? Oh yeah, and the GE thingy doesn’t count?
He was giving a phoe inteview and mentioned his website? This is a silly charge adn I bet will be found completely baseless.
