In fact, their apparent lack of loyalty to minorities could even help Cubans decide to go ahead and vote for Rubio.

1. I've lived in Miami. Most Miami Cubans don't think of themselves as "minorities," and will proudly tell you about their European ancestry.

2. Do you actually think that there is a chance in hell that a Cuban American former State Senator from Miami will lose the Cuban vote to a moyo

Democrat? You've obviously never spent time in South Florida politics (as I have).

3. The biggest threat is Crist winning Anglos on the west coast and along the I-4 corridor.

Well at least in the SW part of Florida it's Rubio Country.

Some of the parts of the Panhandle may be in question, but I think Crist associating with Obama over the oil crisis may have turned some of these DEMS and INDP into Rubio’s camp. Let's hope so!

It’s not about whether they think they are minorities or not, it’s about loyalty and trust.

And if you’ve lived in Miami, you know who runs the voting machines.

The dems still run the machines in Miami/Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. So I don’t put anything past them. But I do believe that if they see no loyalty from the dems, the Cubans actually handling the votes may decide not to look the other way when the dems try to pump the votes out the vote machines against republicans.

If Rubio can grab the Puerto Ricans in the Central Florida area (I4), it will do him very well.
