Nielsen: 29 Million Watched Obama Iraq Address

According to Nielsen, 29 million people watched President Obama's address about Iraq last night. The address went from 8 PM ET to approximately 8:20 PM, and aired on 11 networks, including all four major broadcast channels and all of the cable news channels, as well as Univision and Telemundo.

Viewership was down 9% compared to his last address in June about the Gulf oil spill, and down 28% from his December 2009 address on his strategy for Afghanistan.

Confession: Guilty. We watched it. We usually try not to watch 0bama. But our 3 sons all served in Iraq with USMC, and we wanted to see how he would spin the “success” in Iraq theme. It was about what we expected, but maybe not as long as we thought he would go.

didn’t hear a word the b*st*rd said...did see the pictures of him from the brown room in the brown house...i am talking of the image, the pictures of the oval office...no blues, no reds, no whites, no golds, no silvers nor yellows...oh yea there was the color black to go with the browns...the desert browns, the mud hut browns...kinda matches the new colors of the DOJ web site...BLACK...not the usual patriotic red, blue and white...yea why would this president be patriotic to AMERICA...he wasn’t even born here...but he does hate us...he is teaching me a great deal about hate too!
