To the extent that parts of me have some reservations about capital punishment, it is cases like this for which I abandon those reservations.
Now, three people facing felony charges in the case:
•Chris Smiley, 27
•Ayannah Willis, 26
•Latoya Harlin, 21
Apparently Chris is a female. I assume Ayannah is a man. It doesn’t say much about Latoya.
I’m certain these weren’t Amish or Menonites.......

Of course, nowadays you could insert the name of any large city.
There is always Ithaca,NY, City of Evil.
Ithaca is ultra-lib, hence that nickname, but it's got nothing on the big cities in terms of real evil. Trust me, I've lived near Ithaca for decades, and lived in or near big cities for decades before that.
There's no comparison.

Dunno. I’m sure that in the faculties of universities in Ithaca you could find several people ready to defend not only the right to have sex with a minor child but the suspect’s “rights” to sell their minor child into sexual slavery.
