WASHINGTON (Reuters) Republican Pat Toomey has opened a 10-point lead over Democrat Joe Sestak among likely voters in a Senate race in Pennsylvania dominated by economic worries, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Tuesday.
Toomey, a conservative former congressman, leads Sestak, a former admiral elected to Congress in 2006, by 47 percent to 37 percent barely two months before the November 2 election to replace Democrat Arlen Specter.
Toomey's lead was smaller, 40 percent to 37 percent, among a larger pool of registered voters.
Sestak's troubles are another election warning for Democrats, who face potentially big losses in the Senate and the possible loss of their majority in the House of Representatives.

Maybe it’s going to be CHRISTMAS in NOVEMBER this year!!!!
If this holds up, it might be outside the margin of cheating, even in Pennsylvania.
Funny how the Reuters hack defines Toomey as a conservative, but can’t bring himself to call Sestak a liberal. Probably just an oversight, don’t ya know.
A good friend of mine just took a driving trip through Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorada, Arizona, Utah, California and back to Wisconsin. During the trek he made it a point to visit with strangers about what’s going on, and he said everyone was upset with Obama, Congress and their state legislatures. They are angered at the wreckless spending and huge federal debt, government takeovers, and no regard for the citizens. He didn’t find one person that wasn’t upset. November is going to be interesting!
You think only communists will vote democrat in November?

BUMP for good news!
Rasmussen released a poll today which has Toomey up 45 - 39 over Sestak. A solid lead, so it’s probably safe to say Toomey leads somewhere between 6 - 10 points.
Woo hoo! Go Toomey!
I also noticed something funny. In an attempt to make Sestak look more impressive, he called:
Toomey a conservative former Congressman
Sestak a former admiral elected to Congress in 2006
He used Toomey’s politcal view as a description, while avoiding Sestak’s. That was doen to make Sestak look palatable to independents.
He gave details of Sestak’s election while avoiding those of Toomey to diminish Toomey’s service.
The kicker, he used Sestak’s title in the Navy as the description in order to draw attention to Sestak’s military record and personal achievements. However, and this is the funny part, the writer failed to capitalize Admiral. Aside from not capitalizing a title, which is poor form in English writing, he failed to make the word Admiral stick out from the rest of the sentence. All the words are lower case, so they dont draw attention. The writer wanted everyone to see that, and because of his own screw up, his subliminal point will not be made.
Rooters is worried. This could be hugh, as the boat takes on water and dreams are washed ashore like so many desembowled clam shells. A tragicomedy.
