Referring to those who are grateful to Pres. Bush for his devotion to his #1 presidential duty of relentless pursuit of our safety after 9/11 (keeping your butt as well in one piece),

restoring honor and respect to the Oval Office after the scummy Clintons,

honoring and supporting our brave troops,

in addition to preserving the sanctity of life in all issues he could,

and tax cuts and pushing continually for reform of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac,

and the important addition to SCOTUS of two conservatives

and MUCH MORE .. all in the last several years of his presidency with a vicious, divisive democratic-controlled Congress and a degenerate and biased press ...

Well, actually, I don’t have a problem with ANY of that.

He DID do some good as President, even if it was in spite of himself at times.

The problem is all the OTHER stuff - massive spending, failure to stop the invasion from Mexico, treatment of border security guards, pandering to Mexico, some absolutely horrific appointments, etc.

And you didn't even mention that he was the most consistent and fervent pro-life President we have ever had.

You have to work hard as a conservative to hate this man.

The fact that some do is obvious. The reason for it (assuming there is one) is not as clear.

Coming on a thread regarding the evil Obama, and the honorable George W. Bush, and feeling the need to attack the man of honor is bewildering.

(And he wonders why most conservatives see him as a troll. DUhhhhh...)

Thank you for reminding us of the achievements of President Bush. I for one will be eternally grateful for his unwavering dedication to protecting our Country and his dedication and love of our Troops.

I wish when Obama called for W he would have got an answering machine that simply said “Sorry we aren't hear to answer you call. We are at Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport welcoming our brave troops home!
