"I wasn’t there. Was the crowd overwhelmingly white?"

No whiter than the crowd that attended MLK's "I have a dream" speech.

I hear Sharpton’s “counter rally” was mostly black. Bunch of racists I guess.

From a pure statistical point of view, there’s a reason minorities are called minorities... why the hell does the media feel the need to make issue of it? Dr. King’s dream is still just a dream to the Liberals.

Yes, but the Sharpton crowd was oberwhelming black. There was about the same ratio of black/white, white/black.

There were Blacks on the podium, and Blacks in the crowd.

The media is missing the whole point, and trying to make sure everyone else does too.

This wasn’t about race. It wasn’t about politics. It was about a return to God, each person renewing their relationship as a means to start rebuilding our nation.

The real question is, were Blacks welcome there? The answer to that is a resounding yes.

Glenn was told of a man who came to Washington to attend Al Sharpton’s counter protest. The guy stopped by the Beck Rally to protest. So he listened for a few moments and realized there was nothing to protest.

He left a converted individual. He never made it to the Sharpton love fest.

Print that media whores.

Christians who suspect Beck, chalk one up for Christ here. Glenn moved him back from the dark side. You should praise God for that. He does work in mysterious ways. He is capable of working through any of us, for His will to be done.

Just curiouis - did any of the State-run media point out that the Sharpton event (going on coincidentally) was predominantly BLACK?
