WASHINGTON - Fox News host Glenn Beck wore a bulletproof vest at his weekend rally, where he claimed "many, many miracles" had occurred - including a flyover of geese."I'm absolutely wearing a bulletproof vest," Beck said he told Alveda King, the niece of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., before the "Restore Honor" event at the Lincoln Memorial. He and other speakers risked their lives but "she decided not to wear it," Beck said of Alveda King, and now "she is a marked woman for standing on that step with me."

“We also wondered about Sarah Palin because she had on a jacket that seemed a touch large for her.”
I went to an event recently where she was. I ran into her at the private airport terminal. Just her, Todd, and the kiddos.
I was happy to get to meet her, but I was also shocked at the lack of security.
I guess the security was me. (I am a concealed carry guy.)
Yep.
One need only watch a few minutes of MSNBC to realize the MOST HATEFUL folks in this country are LIBERALS. The further left they are the more they hate.

“Messiah complex”? “Martyr”?
Yes, it’s you.
Beck likely did, indeed, expect to be “martyred” at the rally, as he probably does every time he goes out in public. Beck is under constant threat, he knows it, and he is unwilling to back down.
That’s not a “messiah complex,” just plain reality.
And wearing a bullet-proof vest is common sense. Even with that, he’s not safe.
What have you done for your country lately?
Whether you agree with Beck or not — and I sometimes do and sometimes don’t — surely you can respect him for trying?
It’s just you.
He’s received serious death threats. There is no doubt he is in danger.
He has a wife and kids.
Wouldn’t you protect yourself?
Would you like people to read your mind and claim you had a Messiah complex and expected to be martyred?
Glen said that the only reason he wore the vest was because his wife wanted it. He put his trust in God.
The author says Beck is wearing a vest due to “his conspiracy theories” - what an idiot. He gets death threats on a regular basis, I’m sure. Thus the need for 5 guards around him just to shake hands.
Yep.
LOL! Yep BUMP!
The vest was the first thing I noticed on Saturday. I pointed it out on Facebook at the time.
Don’t be a dummy. Beck has been informed several times by the FBI that they are pursuing investigations regarding deaththreats against both him and his family, as well as kidnapping threats against his children.
I don’t blame him. I wonder if leftist MSM types will ask Hussein why he doesn’t give speeches to large, uncontrolled crowds, why he doesn’t appear in true PUBLIC settings or why any room in which he does speak is carefully stacked with his own worshipers??
He’s crazy, not stupid.

Try opening your mouth on facebook and see what happens ;-)
To be fair, there are other nitwits in FR who want to look down their nose at Beck, but here on this thread it seems to be just you.
Yep.
I could tell he had one on, don’t blame him since many whackos out there want him dead.
I suggest you seek professional help.
Please refresh my memory. I know playing the Freud Card comes after playing the Race Card but does it come before playing the Hate Card?
